  • Big fan of the Ketka fic. Hoping to see more when your life is less crazy, though I understand the reasoning that it gets a bit hard to write a ramping protagonist, especially before they face meaningful opposition. If you want to keep things difficult for him, having the Reapers steal and implement some tech after Sovereign's attack could keep them in the fight?

    That would never work. The MC rushed tech to ensure the Reapers wouldn't be a threat to his people, because they are the big bad of the ME universe. He could end them at pretty much any point, because almost all of them are simply sleeping together in the void. Or he could dismantle the relay network, forcing them to arrive using conventional FTL's, which would take a long ass time.
    Just reread big ears for I think the fourth time, one of my favorite stories on the site, I love how you have writen the ketka and think you have done a great job at pacing the tech upgrades. Thanks for the work you've put into it

    Wild Chaos God appears? Naruto Space Gods? Everything is justifiable by dumb scientists playing with dimensions. 'Oh look we opened a Hellmouth' Oh look an Eldritch entity the size of a star.     I feel you about the curbstomp, but that just means you need to finish it up soon, expidite it a bit perhaps and just end it in the next 10 chapters at most. throw in a few timeskips and it should be doable. Plus i NEED to see the council races perspective of what happened and the meeting with the prince and all that.

    You could always focus on character interactions with the new divergent timeline of events and setting. Let the mc chill a bit while we see OGs and OCs experience the new dynamics of the galaxy. Slice of life, social interaction, diplomatic talks, economic trade with replicator society etc.. really enjoy the story so far. Hope to see things play out further even if combat becomes a trivial write off in the story

    I have, because I really like the Zero Two, but after losing my old laptop, I would need to reacquire and rewatch/read the source material. Honestly, it's unlikely I will, as my interests have moved away from that.

    It's not the Muse that's the issue. It's the desire to put thought into typed words. I have a lot of shitty ideas running around my head. I have more to the stories that I've submitted on here that I've either partially written or just are stuck in brain. I'll get them out eventually.

    Dead. I have ideas for a rewrite, because I didn't some of the things I did. No idea if I'll ever do that, though. I have lots of ideas, and not the time or energy to turn them all into words. Sinereal had a good tinker story, and someone else had one where the MC ended up with Lisa (DarkWolfShiro maybe?) with a plot that had some similarities to where my brain was taking the (in my head) rewrite.

    Honestly, that's probably the last of my stories I'd update at this point. If anything, I'd redo it entirely, as I wasn't too happy with what I'd written or where I was taking it. With that Essence, the MC should have been far more powerful than he really was.

    It's slated for a remake, eventually. Been reading some HP stories in my free time and it's making my brain go back to that character. I'd probably tone down some of his antagonism, though. It was rather over the top, considering I wasn't writing him to be a full evil character.

    Yeah. It's not dead. Life's been busy, and I've just been on a reading kick lately. Plus starting a new job soon that will probably take a LOT of my time. I'm not spoiling anything for the story, since I do have plans. I just need to write it.

    You mean A Long Vacation? There's a lot of content in it, and it was kind of getting tedious and bloated. I had kind of planned on stopping it after the Pokemon jump, and maybe doing a 'sequel' called "A Divine Vacation" where the MC just play acts as being Anubis (like the one in Stargate) in DanMachi, but my brain moved on to other concepts.

    "I've Got a Need". Felt a bit burned out on YJ, so I skipped ahead to the next world (Worm) with "I've Still Got a Need". Been busy, but the next chapter has been partially done for a bit. I have the story decently planned out, just need the time (and motivation) to keep writing. Life's been busy.
