Emergency notice: We are currently being invaded by zombies. See this thread for details.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
First note: Hate hate HATE "Eerie Darkness" Fuck it. This is why I like the bed upgrade, so I still have battery power when I run into this shit.
Second note:
You ever do something in a game and it's so wild you think "This should be an achievement"?
Was playing Balatro, a boss blind with...
Started messing about with Infection Free Zone. It's a zombie base-building game that's basically RTS, but it's main draw is the fact that you can use actual places on the map. Even your own street. I didn't pick my house, because the difficulty was listed higher and it's my first game, but the...
Nah, it's definitely the range of the anomalies that pop up after you take it, tested it a few times now. Also if it's the spoiled case, that's hell as it's way too short a distance with how spread out they are.
I tried the lightning rod... not unless I have all lightning resistant parts on my...
Yeah, I ran into the Shocked Tourists- and one that didn't show the electric stream until I drove into it.
Also saw a regular one move, though that may have been lag. Just appeared in front of me.
They're only really a threat if you let them surround the car, because then you can't blow them...
I think I've got it. The important thing is that I can handle it!
No, really, I think I could handle this IRL. Assuming the mechanical skills necessary for building shit and fixing cars, of course, or at least good enough instructions.
The anomalies are scary but not insurmountable as long as...
You can SAVE SCUM the tuner. This is revolutionary, as you only get so many guesses to figure out what the hell your car is doing- per visit, probably. I finally figured out that my gas gauge was swishing back and forth with my wipers was the problem.
...Can't fix it, of course, haven't...
Tourists DO explode when you hit them with a road flare, but only if it's lit. I think they'd also explode if you hit them hard enough with it unlit, but it doesn't quite strike with enough force- a little nudge isn't enough.
And the chain reactions are very satisfying- but also concerning when...
Started playing Pacific Drive.
It's... anxiety inducing, but in a different way than other games I've put down. I don't think there's a global time limit, but each map gives you limited time before the storms start. The little Instability Storms have you scrambling to get away but it isn't the...
Is this entirely separate from the flatscreen version, or do they come in a bundle? The Steam page seems to suggest VR comes with flatscreen too, so...
I'll ask for this one only if they're separate keys- as it's more of a 'why not' than anything else, and I know there are a limited number of...
...You've never counted past five on one hand? Generally you just start putting them down to count to ten. I just wasn't looking at my thumb for some stupid reason, after putting it down to hit six.
Or lack of sleep. Could be that too.
Oh, I see what I did. I was counting the missing items on my fingers, the first five on one hand and the other 8 on my other, and then missed counting my thumb being down for some damn reason.
Never mind, crisis over, I'm just blind and apparently can't count.
Snnnnrk. It's not actually physical objects. I was being vague on purpose, but putting it like that is hilarious!
But that's definitely not the case. Somehow there are 192 items on the list, all 192 are accounted for, and then there's one more thing that somehow doesn't make the count come up...
Maybe someone can help me solve this problem, because it's driving me insane.
So I have a list of 192 items, named and numbered, from 1 to 204. 116-120 and 123-130 are missing, should be 12 missing in total, giving 192.
I have these items divided into groups of 16, which 192 perfectly divides...
Tell him you're auditioning for the role of the Dilophosaurus in a Jurassic Park remake and ask if he'll play the part of Dennis Nedry.
(Hope this at least gives you a giggle.)
Beat SteamWorld Build. It was... okay.
The near-constant attacks in the lowest level got a little annoying once you were set up with enough turrets and troops that they weren't actually a threat, but other than that the foreshadowing of the 'endless enemy' didn't really pan out. They didn't...
You might also try Last Evil on Steam. It's the same kind of gameplay... but lewd. The gameplay is actually good, though. A bit easy compared to Slay the Spire, but working too hard for the porn was never fun, so.
Be careful and don't assume this is the case at every shelter. In cities especially you get ones that are safe and ones that aren't, and that tends to change as the predators follow the prey, shifting from day to day. One of the reasons a lot of them won't go to a shelter.
