The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
It does seem that the proxying is taking a hot second, not immediately working but instead taking a minute or two to grab it.
Wondering if it's just image cache still playing "catch up" like the emails or if there's still something funky still.

The collected bugs were all DNS related.
QQ proxies and caches the images with the tag whenever it can- however, when DNS for the server isn't working, it can't reach out to the URL provided to grab the pic.
Same with sending email- can't find the email domain, can't send.
As to why logging in...
Whew! We thought we had it handled, but there were a few more than expected.
Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help- and to all who were lost, we will remember you. For a couple days, anyways.
There might be a few stragglers here and there - please be aware of any zombie admins roaming...
This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a joke. The dead are currently rising from the graves to invade QQ. How or why that happened, no idea.
We highly recommend you grab a weapon for at least self-defense. Whatever you can hit or shoot with should do. While staff is currently dealing with...
Paypal, as noted when the screen isn't messed up, is only cancellable from the paypal side.
Were you able to get this from the Paypal side, then?
I've tested and confirmed with a test subscription that this cancels it.
You may have already cancelled it, then, and that's the expiration of the effects (which, for us, is just the orange username).
I'd recommend checking your bank/card's website too, if there's a page/section for recurring payments on that side.
Something such as a Social Media post/tweet, or a comment at the bottom of one of the chapters, or an author reply to the translator asking for consent.
Such is fine if it's in said foreign language as long as machine-translate can get the gist of it.
Ask the author "Hello, can I translate...
As of today, Questionable Questing will not allow translations of works hosted on other sites, such as translating foreign-language web-novels into English, unless you have been given explicit consent by the work's author to translate into English. Said consent must be verifiable - that is...
Is it still saying that? From what I'm seeing you should be able to.
If it still won't let you just let me know what you want it changed to and I'll change ut for you.
Done
And not sure - right now it requires admin control panel access, I don't know if it will be able to be delegated to moderators in the future.
