Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

This was an excellent point. Invincible-OL isn't enlightened and isn't all that happy with his life. Most of humanity despises him, he doesn't actually like Anissa all that much a lot of the time, and there's no one he can really call a friend.
Does he even want to go home? If he could get...
One thing the Invincible arc is doing is reminding me of how Jervik the Controller upgraded his Effigy Corps with a bunch of enhancements, of which Viltrumite smart atoms were probably the most valuable. There was an arc back in late April fic-time (so between 2 and 3 months before the...
This arc is starting to remind of the build-up to the Anti-Life arc with the Alliance of the Just where there were a lot of little signs of things going wrong, and then everything exploded all at once.
The meeting with Batman gets more ominous every update spent building up to it.
I was reading through the Mad Hatter wikipedia entry to remind myself of the various takes on the character. There was an interesting note about the Final Crisis version of the Justifier helmets being a combination of his technology and Apokoliptic technology. That's not necessarily the case...
So it occurs to me....
Batman has a well documented history of adopting orphans. Lonnie is an orphaned kid of incredible talent who is very concerned about the Justice League's expansion of authority. Batman needs someone to keep an eye on him. Lonnie wants to keep an eye on Batman.
Is it...
My reread has progressed to the arc where Mitchell interns at LexCorp, and there was actually a story segment at the beginning of the arc where we get a Lex POV and find out what he thinks about the Justice League taking over the world.
Obviously this is a couple of months before the new...
You could take it as a slight against OL, but- I've been rereading the whole Antilife story arc, and I feel like there's something that's kind of slid through the cracks because no one made a big deal of it.
The SI saved the world. No one else had a plan against the antilife. No one even had...
Georgia would explain that they just need to establish a control group. Devastate a parallel Earth the same way, but remove the Justice League at the same time, and you can compare results!
How exactly has he worked towards that goal? I mean, I suppose "killing a superpowered being" is a way of ending reliance on the specific superpowered being you've killed, but-
Naturally when things appear in stories, sometimes I try to figure out why they are there for narrative reasons. What is this leading up to.
There has been a lot of focus about the aftereffects of the anti-life, and the Sheeda got a shout-out as well. My theory is that this is leading up to...
I fully expect Mist to resign in protest, but part of the cleverness of Batman's scheme is that it can't be blocked by the unanimity rules because it's not something that the League is doing. It's the governments of the world that are passing this legislation. The League could vote, "we don't...
There have been a lot of DC alternate universes where Superman leads the Justice League in taking over the world, but none that I can recall where Batman is the instigator. In fact Batman is usually either a resister or the first to be talked down and turn on the new order.
In which case Zoat...
Less than "we've" got now. I know it's a little ancillary to the greater point of the chapter, but it's kind of ridiculous that Paul doesn't go ahead and join the Justice League. He's basically working with them constantly these days, has strong opinions about how they should operate and the...
No, Paul did not see him disappear. He asked Supergirl what happened to the guy (having missing Truggs disappearing during to being distracted by native Kara's exposure to Black Kryptonite), and that is what she told him happened. "He disappeared in a puff of smoke because Circe or some other...
The idea of Anarky as the SI's "nemesis" interests me in that the term has been brought up several times in this story as having a specific meaning and application.
So the key thing here is that "nemesis" is not necessarily a reciprocal relationship. Person A can be Person B's nemesis...
Can the Danner formula actually be mass produced?
My understanding is that it was determined to be alchemical in nature, meaning a type of magic. I thought magic had to involve some kind of conscious mind/soul at some point, or mystically active ingredients, or something. An alchemist (or...
I want to be clear that by saying this, I'm not calling for a dramatic change in the story, but...
Let's all be honest, Jade kind of sucks. I get it, the heart wants what it wants, the SI can't control who the SI will fall in love with, but does anyone really like Jade? She's this fighty girl...
Yes, Zoat literally linked a panel from that story in her introduction. But I don't buy it. She just has too many ready excuses, too many deflections, and I remind you there's still no explanation for what she's doing here. No one has ever really questioned her. I think the recent "Arion...
I've rereading old story arcs and I got up through when "Silver Age Supergirl" first appears, right before they visit Parallel 666. (As an aside, there are some characters who used to show up a lot, Ted Kord and native, science-focused Kara, that doesn't show up as much anymore.)
Four years...
