We've issued a clarification on our policy on AI-generated work.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
We can agree that "I don't want to be hacked" is kind of a ridiculous instance here no? By that logic, there are hundreds of things we should tag so it's "safe" for people with very particular triggers.
Yep, pretty much all of this. People just think that AI writing is putting in a basic prompt...
A bot capable of doing the first half reliably wouldn't be on QQ, it would be licensed out to universities for tens of millions of dollars.
Sadly it doesn't exist, and it's pale imitations having so many false positives would cause constant headaches.
Yeah, there's no bot capable of meaningfully distinguishing AI.
I'm fine with it as a tool, mostly for picture purposes. If you don't want an expy character, it's pretty great for giving a face to a character. So I'm glad it's fair game. I dislike it when it's used strongly or fully for the...
My solution to the Joker is that he hasn't actually escaped from Arkham that many times, and each time was a unique occasion arising from circumstances that make sense on their own. Moreover, he doesn't actually have any particular goal to kill people and is in some ways less dangerous than...
AI detectors obey the same rule with any usage of AI: you can use it as part of your toolset, but don't trust it unconditionally. Check the result, and aware of how it works and how to use it properly.
I don't really care if someone spends the time to train a dumb AI to take plot prompts and fill out a story with it in a way they like. Entertaining stories are entertaining regardless of where they come from.
And while I agree, I also say that once Batman has Arrested Joker, ANYONE has the skills and equipment to finish the fight too. We're dispassionately discussing murder as armchair generals, we aren't talking about a killing of passion here.
But if the narrative says the law and citizens are...

What I'm about to do to Hinata may stay with you.
This isn't gentle. It isn't fair. And it's definitely not for the soft-hearted.
If your day's already been rough,
if your heart's carrying a little too much today - come back later.
Protect your peace first.
But if you're ready to see innocence...
It's right there in her name: Catwoman
(Side note about cats and their chasing behavour: When I used a laser pointer to play with my cat, I always ended it by directing the dot to a piece of food that I had placed while she was otherwise occupied chasing that enticing dot. Ending it by not...
