Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Author's Note: In another homage to SageFic's 'Daughters of Andraste' fic, I borrow the name Everly Epic as another author of novels in the context of the Dragon Age Setting, as well as the name of another one of her Portia Plume novels, though the premise I invented for it is entirely my own...
Oh, nothing short of abominations before god will make Shaper happy, but less pissed off at Amy is still an improvement. -8 is still better than -10 after all, 🤣
Hopefully you'll like what I do with their recruitment scenes next chapter. Get 'em both done in one chapter so we can move on from Val Royeaux and all that.
Of course, very soon after that it's The Iron Bull and Blackwall. And you know Shaper's gonna scream 'gimmie' when it sees Bull and gets...
Author's Notes: There are not a lot of hard numbers for population numbers in Thedas. We get some relative placings (what's bigger than what) and we get some hard to believe numbers (usually hard to believe in terms of being very small), and some perfectly reasonable sounding numbers. Thedas is...
...In what sense do you mean that? Even in a positive sense, not really sure that applies - Amy is lesbian, sure, but Katerina isn't exactly crushing on her yet and Amy's not crushing on Katerina (or even close). Their relationship will be major slow burn. At current plans, they won't get...
Give Amy another 300k+ words and she'll realize Katerina (who is only three years older) is conveniently right there. :P Then it'll take a while for her to do anything, but that is the direction of the story.
Author's Note: Last Chapter (and Cassandra's interlude) was something of a major low point for Amy. And arguably her lowest, and the point where things begin to trend upwards overall. She's gonna have some pretty bad days going forward - people who know DAI can probably guess at a few of them -...
I don't think I've had a more miserable experience playing a video game than I just did playing Helldivers 2 in... years, at least. What a horribly unfun and frustrating game.
Author's Note: Short, but sets up some stuff up for down the line.
Cassandra is a pretty easy character to get into the head of, for me. Josephine? Not so sure. So all thoughts or critique on how I handled her voice and inner monologue are welcome.
"There is something very wrong with that...
Author's Note: The first interlude.
In general, most interludes will, generally, pick up from wherever the last scene of the last Amy POV chapter happened, and move things forward from there. But sometimes, since I'm already doing an Interlude anyway, I will take the opportunity to go back and...
Author's Note: Behold! After another Breakdown, Amy almost gets it! Just barely in reach. You know what they say about hitting rock bottom before going upwards.
Many thanks extended to all my readers and those who have commented, and to everyone who has contributed to the TV Tropes page.
Amy...
Author's Note: As promised, last chapter in the Hinterlands for now. And very little of it spent on all the various sidequests.
Also, Amy is going to express a wildly inaccurate opinion about a very popular work of IRL fiction later in this chapter. Like, not just 'wrong opinion' but a full on...
Author's Note: I will remind readers that Amy Dallon is, as I warned, kind of a bitch, and she's got a very black and white view of the world right now. Which of course makes her a perfect fit for a setting with a lot more grey! She will unlearn all this dichotomous thinking, but it's gonna take...
Doesn't destroy his physical form, and if you think a Ancient Magister made of Red Lyrium and Blight can be even be temporarily killed by something so mundane, I have an NFT to sell you. This is even less likely because Amy is unlikely to know it would be safe to do and Amy would not want to...
Amy's power takes time to work - she can't do things instantaneously, and Corypheus doesn't hold The Inquisitors arm for long. She can do some things quicker than others - as we'll see in a few chapters, actually - but it does take actually time, and an understanding of what she's dealing with...
Author's Note: I could very well write four or more chapters just on the travel between Haven and the Crossroads alone. But I'm not going to - there's a lot of stuff I could put there, a lot of stuff to unpack with regards to Amy and a lot of stuff to subject her too, but at the same time, I do...
A fair point possibly. Probably does smell less. But I dont think Amy's power kills all beneficial bacteria and it's probably beneficial to an extent for the sweat to be broken down or we wouldn't have it happen so much one assumes.
