Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Huh, I had no idea.
My gut just says 'surely no one will be shameless enough to sue someone else over a fanfiction'. My brain, on the other hand, says that someone absolutely is going to sue someone over fanfiction.

I *think* I know what you’re talking about but, if I’m correct, you’re misremembering.
If it was when Grayven went to Apokalips in the Justice Lords universe after detecting an odd signature from his Godhead from a proof of concept scan done on him by Sunset when she was trying to manufacture...

The royal court at Highgarden was garden of opulence and arrogance. The high nobility of the Reach had gathered at his father's seat to feast and frolic, to congratulate one another for the victory that had not yet come, yet they all unthinkingly assumed was guaranteed.
Mere months...
Even if it is a fanfic, the author may not own the universe their story is in, they may not own many of the characters in the story. But anything original in that story belongs to them: Original characters, Original settings, Original plotlines as well as that particular original fanfic story...
I do agree with that point. If someone has a private archive of fanfic that they've downloaded, I don't mind them spreading it around, so long as they don't post it in an open forum after the author made it clear they wanted to go scorched earth. Keep it private, enjoy yourself so long as it is...
I am not a lawyer, but I did become very familiar with them and court systems through my life due to actions outside of my control that I was dragged into. Plus I am also currently writing my own story which is not published anywhere and have researched things in order to protect my own...
I'd be shocked if they didn't have an equivalent holiday, a holiday celebrating two groups sharing food during a Grimm siege.
Of course it's likely limited to only one kingdom.
First is the obligatory This is NOT legal advice.
Now Let us really get into the heart of the matter.
You have asked about, and talked about posting someone else's story or a link to where their story is posted, in a space that the author does not control. I am not bringing QQ into this as QQ...
>Argument on site that is mostly fanfictions, with some original fiction
>Argument is about stories posted on the site, not specifically either
>"Where does fanfiction come into it?"
Stop being so lawyerbrained, brother.
Tacking on a pithy 'this isn't legal advice teehee' when most of your...
Yep, and with the Emperor dead and a lot of the worst with him there, the Empire would be improving in a lot of ways.
That also means that the Alliance would hit an issue of their own, because the Alliance included a lot of "rebel" groups that really were little more than pirates or...
I can respect the decision you made and have sympathy for what you've been through.
That said, I'm going to draw a line in the sand and say that even if you're willing to take those risks, other writers should not feel obligated to do the same. That's like standing out in the open letting...
I'm a fairly asinine person, on occasion. :V I raised this with the other staff, and got taco's confirmation (it being more a Rule 1 issue than 3, and that being a dick in a more circumspect way is still being a dick) - I can get back to you if I do get any disagreement, but, until I do, that's...
It's two weeks to Thanksgiving and the beacon first year crew have snuck out on a mission.
The Grimm have wiped out turkeys outside of some carefully cultivated and extremely expensive ones raised in captivity that are almost impossible to steal.
But Jaques "my farts smell like money" Schnee...
They finally figured out the secret was to tangentially include the explosions on purpose. So they flipped a coin between a fireworks show and the Remnant equivalent of a Michael Bay movie.
