Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
After I completed Astaroth, I headed for LeClaire’s headquarters under Murmur. In order to use my new form, I needed to study LeClaire and his people. An understanding of the person I was mimicking was pretty much required.
Dantalion was all but made for this kind of thing, so as I settled in...
Yeah, unless I’m misreading, then I think the official position of the mod team here is pretty clearly “No, you cannot post links to deleted stories/fics nor can you shamelessly tell people where to find them, as that would be a dick move and therefore against Rule 1.”
Not exactly hard to...
I guess we've already gotten our answer about Rules 3/7 and all, so no point in dragging this out anymore. To be honest, not really happy with how I feel when I'm thinking about all of this, so I'll do the healthy thing and see myself out now. Thank you to everyone for remaining polite during...
...have written and published a fanfic that's arguably CP in my country? Do you think I'd have pirated a dozen VNs that are definitely CP in my country*? I subscribe to the philosophy of Paul Anka:
"For what is a man; what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught. To say the things he...
Honestly it would not be the first time for stupid lawsuits. And yes, I also consider it a stupid lawsuit but unfortunately that is just how laws work. But consider that an original character in a fanfic of one author, gets used by someone else in another (being rather sarcastic here)...
Saying that someone wrote something that they don't want to be associated with having written, even if it's true, is massively shitty. If someone is still an active user and you're openly discussing their prior works when they would prefer you did not, and are suggesting where people can go read...
Huh, I had no idea.
My gut just says 'surely no one will be shameless enough to sue someone else over a fanfiction'. My brain, on the other hand, says that someone absolutely is going to sue someone over fanfiction.
T_T
I *think* I know what you’re talking about but, if I’m correct, you’re misremembering.
If it was when Grayven went to Apokalips in the Justice Lords universe after detecting an odd signature from his Godhead from a proof of concept scan done on him by Sunset when she was trying to manufacture...

The royal court at Highgarden was garden of opulence and arrogance. The high nobility of the Reach had gathered at his father's seat to feast and frolic, to congratulate one another for the victory that had not yet come, yet they all unthinkingly assumed was guaranteed.
Mere months...
Even if it is a fanfic, the author may not own the universe their story is in, they may not own many of the characters in the story. But anything original in that story belongs to them: Original characters, Original settings, Original plotlines as well as that particular original fanfic story...
I do agree with that point. If someone has a private archive of fanfic that they've downloaded, I don't mind them spreading it around, so long as they don't post it in an open forum after the author made it clear they wanted to go scorched earth. Keep it private, enjoy yourself so long as it is...
I am not a lawyer, but I did become very familiar with them and court systems through my life due to actions outside of my control that I was dragged into. Plus I am also currently writing my own story which is not published anywhere and have researched things in order to protect my own...
I'd be shocked if they didn't have an equivalent holiday, a holiday celebrating two groups sharing food during a Grimm siege.
Of course it's likely limited to only one kingdom.
First is the obligatory This is NOT legal advice.
Now Let us really get into the heart of the matter.
You have asked about, and talked about posting someone else's story or a link to where their story is posted, in a space that the author does not control. I am not bringing QQ into this as QQ...
