The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
I believe I finally found the cause of the conflict, and it's from an unexpected place...: The "Retain Homelands on Release UI" mod. Indeed, other players who used have found it causes the exact same problems as well... and unfortunately, the mod hasn't been updated in two years and the mod's...
Well, it's definitely a mod conflict somewhere, as I've now tested it with all but five mods turned off (the mods left on being the "Change Leader Ideology" set, "A World to Win", and "Theresia's Communist Overhaul") and both the Nationalization function and the Company Establishment/Disbandment...
1) Haven't tried it without any mods quite yet, but that's most likely going to be my next step. And yeah, the Nationalization feature was a new addition made with the Building Ownership Rework in Patch 1.7/Sphere of Influence.
2) Just went and checked it a few minutes ago now, and I've...
Ugh... Been recently playing Victoria 3 again after who-knows-how-long, but what's been being a pain in my ass is a specific glitch/bug that keeps crashing my game every time I try using it: the Nationalization button in the Buildings menu just doesn't work for some damn reason, and I don't know...
Oh yeah, this is the blue style that I was talking about in the main suggestions thread. They really need to add this one back in, it was aesthetically pleasing and easy on the eyes.
Still missing the Blue style from before. The Blackened Blue one currently just doesn't do anything for me. Wish I had a screenshot to show which style I'm talking about, but sadly that's hindsight for ya.
Can we get the old blue-colored layout? I don't like any of the current styles available. The blue one was easy on the eyes and aesthetically pleasing.
Just had my mind wandering about now, and I happened to think back you and your Eudeamon snippets. Have you ever gone back and played with that setting since last time?
Been back to playing Victoria 3 recently, but one thing I haven't been able to figure out yet is how the 'Trade States' diplomacy action that PDX added in the newest patch is supposed to work. Every time I try to use it, it says I haven't set which states I want to trade, but I cannot find any...
