    I agree with your theory. To me, the statue just manipulates connects you to their variant in another timeline. A skill? In another circumstance, you actually trained for it. Increased vitality or magic (blue or purple orb)? In a possible timeline, you hit the gym/studied magic and got better.

    What a masterpiece chapter. I hope the students and their teacher will make another appearance. With how ugly Lusachias are, I would have thought it would try to evolve to something else. Please what was being said here? Or is it intentionally vague as part of the plot.

    I just had an idea. What if when Urizen shattered Rebellion, a splinter of Rebellion fell down the Qliphoth to the general level the MCs are in? The unifying power of rebellion will be helpful in claiming the seed of the Lusachia's power as theirs.
