The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Nothing stops us from double-commissioning T21 and T22 though? Besides Rarity's stress levels ofc. And tbf, this turn is going to be stressful as a baseline for all our friends and family. Considering. So it might be better to focus now (or at least don't do something that is explicitly...
But we'll be able to do a commission next turn? Unless you think there's some very valuable thing Rarity will need to do instead?
@OurLadyOfWires can you provide any sort of ballpark in how difficult Jade house prison making is? At all feasible for Rarity in one turn or nah?
because we'll need them next turn.
or the turn after.
We need AT LEAST 240 bits for Canterlot part 3 once we do that. We'll need bits for summoning Mares, for more scrying rituals, to heal ourselves, to deal with Windy... and who knows what else.
We'll always need more bits, so I'm leaning...
Do we actually want Velvet acting like she's dosed up on super-morphine when she's trying to talk to her friends and family, though?
Edit:
So what you're saying is that we should do more expeditions? :V
Actually, a thought for you @OurLadyOfWires. I know I've mentioned wanting a Secret...
The glory is in reach. Let's find the Outsider, without compromising much else.
[x] Plan Let's Get That Outsider:
-[x] A tighter security detail
-[x] You need somepony to perform this ritual…(Reflection of the Tapestry, aimed at COPPER)
--[x] To be performed on the safe place Baldomare directed...
Our personal Lantern Sacrament is focused on all the cool bits of Lantern though.
The laying hoofs and seeing memories is one of the best parts of visiting the mansus.
Besides we've still got more cool things we can investigate in the Mansus which our personal sacrament would help with.
A valid point.
Frankly, I do agree with you there. That would be a major bonus, and also have us spend more time with her- in conjunction with us progressing her friendship path, it may even provide some unexpected side benefits, narratively speaking. Even if only little tidbits from our...
We need Luna on searching for the outsider if we want a chance of success this turn without Baldomare involved.
Why do this when we don’t need the bits this turn? It stresses Rarity out, it’s worth giving her a cooldown period when it’s not necessary
WOW! THANKS MAREINETTE! I TRUST YOU...
I'm getting "Cupcake" flashbacks.
If you don't know, it's an infamous fanfic about Pinkie making cupcakes that I think Mareinette would find very tasty.
I'd love to do Canterlot, but sending anything less than TWO Names there is foolish, and we don't exactly have 240 bits to reserve for...
I'm very disinclined to bring any influences on Velvet right now due to her nonexistant lores. Her usual skill in navigating them is due in no small part to her reliance on Lore-expertise to self-medicate anyway, so the Influences are just more of the same. Now she's got none of that, already...
Tbh, I have to say I'm not terribly interested in our personal Lantern Sacrament anymore. Baldomare's Lantern Sacrament sounds like it should remove the penalty for reading old books, which would massively decrease the AP burden of reading/decoding all those old high-level books we'll be digging...
