Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
As for magic I feel that it feels appropriately arcane. There is minimal to none of levels and slots, and instead workings of magic that feel mystical, strange, and powerful. It doesn't feel gamey or system based which I really appreciate. It just feels strange and weird and I am all for it.
The world building is great for a realistic reason: everyone jokes about and puts down other regions and groups. It feels like I'm in the world when an Andal Valeman disdains a First Man Northerner for both being a First man, but also since he's a "Northern bumpkin". The ways each group holds...
The long term character arcs are fantastic with the growth of Wylla from slave to lady, Urt from gutter rascal to right hand man to Tyrion, and the refining of Robert into a damn fine king. The dungeons are fantastic since the stakes are high, the consequences immediate, and the urge to gamble...
The favorite parts has been the opposing perspectives and intentions, long term character arcs, and the dungeons. The opposing views and intentions makes the quest feel far more dynamic and prevents a feeling of having "won" since there's always someone somewhere ready to tip the apple cart to...
Sadly Axe cannot lead an Expedition due to making Wrong Keys with her AP this turn, so she needs one warm body to donate the AP she needs to crush that expedition. And Mareinette can't lead because she is using her AP on Filthy and Spoiled Rich. And we'd rather have Baldomare on the Outsider...

I'd be funny to see Copper try to Grail her way out of the conversation only for Mareinette to casually drop a maximal influence to establish dominance and then dispell it again.
You are correct!
I very much doubt Comet will really listen, or trust Baldomare enough to speak earnestly and honestly.
But it is a step in the right direction. A step I see that he won't take with Axe, and shouldn't take with Mareinette.
The mad bastards did it! Foxhole gets air combat!
Now you, too, can enjoy the pleasure that is making bombing runs on rear-line logistics centers, or being a truck driver, living in fear of enemy bombers. Or the pleasures of flying air patrols, to defend your logistics against enemy bombers...
I'd be VERY surprised if Comet listened to Baldomare. As in, to him she's a Name, a monster in pony form.
Keep in mind that his main experience with Names was The Master, and the last time they met he was bargaining for his own life, trading Shining Armor in exchange.
To US Baldomare is the...
