Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Dao of Fuck Off is (largely) sex-free and the protagonist's goals are primarily 'don't get pinned down for anything'. Also phrasable as "be able to fuck off at any time".
Dao of Jack Off has a minor metaphysics shift that makes Dual Cultivation the method of choice, and the protagonist's goal...
Meanwhile Lucious: "Bah, the dark lord killed himself on an infant. I don't need to keep his rubbish while I'm being raided."
Mere months later: Dark Mark burns.
Lucious: "shitshitshit"
And soon, some Death Eater: "Who's this harlot claiiiiiiieee!" - continues writhing in Crucio.
On the surface, that does appear to be a break in Voldie's obsession with control, but it checks out with deeper probing.
Voldie's canon control freak issues were actually rather few. 1) killing the brat who would end him. 2) 'it has to be potter's blood'.
And those were matters explicitly...
The Loa are, very loosely speaking, 'The Hoodoo Gods'.
There's a whole line of theology just trying to pin down who the minor names even are, but ol' Samdi is not a minor name.
He's more easily researched under the name Baron Samedi, and he's the skeleton psychopomp that seems to have given...
If I recall my Loa legalese (and the sources were reliable), he'd be fine as long as he took it off before changing venue.
'Dress yourself in' is the action of putting on the clothing and presenting yourself in them, translated into solid terms.
That said, if he reliably fails to discard the...
Wasn't one of Satanoodle's purviews 'Destruction'?
My money's on academic interest in the bomb that sent Lee here and non-academic interest in what of Lee's soul allowed him to transfer bodily through the destruction it wrought.
As well as being intrigued at the nonsense that those...
Other adults might reasonably see exterminator levels of violence as appropriate.
Other children would only have reason to see that level of ruthlessness as apropriate with a very unfortunate series of encounters with them.
And even most wizarding adults tend toward subdual methods, if only...
I've got a fic that abuses the abbreviation code thing. It did not previously work on mobile, and I just checked and at minimum I cannot figure out how it's supposed to work on mobile. (Still no cursor to hover)
Is this on y'alls end or mine? Do we know yet?
Digging it.
It's refreshing to see a well done 'book learner meets real world' story. You're showing the advantages of her mindset in an elegantly practical way and not just shoving the disadvantages in her/our face like some stories default to.
Hell, if it weren't for Frederick the Fossil...
Hey, Lee, Buddy. I've got good news and bad news about this.
The good news is that magical saviors totally exist in this world!
The bad news, well...
The bad news is that the honored role of Protagonist tends to shift to whomever is categorically 'the best'. And you made Ash Ketchum of all...
I don't know if this falls under 'miraculous coincidence', but with the Claydol hanging out out-of-ball, the Camerupt seeming to be at least semi-lobotomized, and the viscerality of the mons screaming 'UNNATURAL!', and the fact that if my memory serves, mega evolution being a very bond-heavy...
My wife (who hasn't actually read the story, but likes the dramatizing I do for some of the best parts):
"No. This is canon now. The vulpix's name is Mizuki and you can't get rid of her."
So, ah...
Very well done sideswipe, Fugg! You got a cute-crit over here.
Probably one of those blind spots that arise from having a 'protect the kid' perspective looking at the 'first crush' dynamic.
The desire to protect Brendan from the unpleasantness of being simply told that he's been crushing on a maniac makes it easy to dither with the unrecognized reasoning...
Personally, I hold the position that what you describe is sociopathy. I've found too many places where anything more than being a fully mindless tool has emotion worked into every layer of functionality to believe the 'sociopaths have no emotion/empathy' line.
It's much more likely to my eye...
Thanks! Hope you like the story so far.
For that one in particular, I'm all ears for ideas for plot points and such, because it's almost completely seat-of-my-pants.
