The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
What I heard was "we can ignore half the tags when we do the initial tag synonyms set-up" and "even if we do that, we'll have nearly nine thousand tags to wrangle".
Eh. Not being familiar with the game or the setting, I had already wondered why the party were able to split up without a range limit becoming a problem and decided to ignore it.
To my recollection, historically, images that were proxied would still be available on QQ because of the image proxy. That's why I thought it was unintentional behavior. If those images should still be available through the image proxy but aren't, that's a bug.
Is that no longer the expected...
Where do we go about image proxy issues? Is this an acceptable thread?
I've come across several posts where I know the images used to be proxied correctly, but don't appear to be now. Example.
You've probably noticed that I've been enjoying your Horny Healer Hijinks. Apparently, I really enjoy MCs with unusual(at least to me) thought processes where both the author and the character have thought explicitly about their unusual thought processes. Keep up the good work.
For a second there, I misread your name as "VotedForKudos". Probably because the only post of yours I remember reading mentioned Ao3, but still, amusing.
Just re-read Unconquerable more-or-less in whole, because I wanted to reread just the romance bits. Again.
This led me to notice that there's no note about whether it has been effectively abandoned in the thread itself. I was going to ask if it was "well I'm still hoping to get back to it"...
The Avatar, Naruto, and Lyrical Nanoha systems have been referenced here. Possibly a reference to genetic cultivation systems, as well. Are there any other specific magic systems that have been referenced?
More importantly, that is a great description of the whole "internal foe" experience...
I would love that. Sure, if I'm using BBcode mode it's because I know exactly what codes I need, so I can type them in by hand. But it's convenient.
Although, I would also love a mode like that on SV/SB, so this may be a situation where it makes sense to coordinate with them.
You're running XP??
Do the scrollbars move at the same time when you scroll? Do they move by the same proportionate distance? Does one look like a system native scrollbar, presumably with buttons at the top and bottom, and the other looks like a tiny line inside a tiny line and also appears...
Okay, this is going to sound stupid, but:
Are you absolutely sure that you're using the same URL on both? That you're not logging in to questionablequesting.com on one and forum.questionablequesting.com on the other?
Won't help, I don't have anyplace to upload them.

Update: with my current alert settings, new threads and being replied to do not get automatically marked as read in the alerts pop-up, but all other alert types (such as other new posts in a thread and like) do get automatically marked as read. What you want is definitely possible, you just...
