The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
So I've talked to some friends about modern IRL tech(as in anything that came into existence after the Internet) and we came to the conclusion that anything after WW2 in effectiveness and scalability makes the Grimm and Salem a moot point. Just reducing that continent to a sea of flame is well...
So the thing about Marcus' ability to steal Semblances, it feels like the kinda thing where it only actually sticks if he kills the person while they're missing their Semblance. Mercury killed him though, so Mercury just thinks his Semblance is gone forever
There's also the idea of making May act like an actual irl Sniper instead of RWBY's idea of one. She sets up traps, drops grenades, and has an e-tool for melee when she is forced into that. In the context of the Festival this is boring and poorly represented, but out in the wilds or in a true...
Selene Sokal has a story where everyone thinks May is like this, but she's really just using some mild corruption to get the really good ammo for herself and her team.
Gotta hard disagree there, while you make good points, remnant already displays tons of logistical ability in the actual show, like Amity. It's a flying arena the size of a town, and RWBY tech is generally a step towards scifi from ours all around. As for space info, that's an important part of...
Nobody actually looks at what even irl military could do. I agree with your uses, but not for any of the reasons you describe, rather it's that the military can kill anything that's not hiding behind civilians, but human shields make them far less effective than huntsmen. I described the...
Well for one thing, the Grimmlands are just gonna be a sea of fire.
"Oh look, Salem's refor- oh nevermind, that bomber got her. Hey, artillery' s here, what took you so long?"
"Oh shut up Chair Force, have you ever actually held an area?"
Hmm, so one thing about Duryodhana, isn't one of his main themes having been destined to be super evil, but was raised normally by his parents anyway? And thus turned out as a flawed but generally decent human who happened to be on the other side from the hero?
Cinder has a shitty backstory and this has the premise redemption is possible. I get that the flow of the story is that she's going to be redeemed, but to balance out pragmatism and forgiveness maybe just offering her one chance is most IC.
Btw @AndrewJTalon Archers would traditionally also use hammers or long hafted axes because the same intensely developed back muscles needed for bows also lets them unga bunga through defenses
Gotta say, my personal theory on Rennala's current state is that it's a consequence of the divorce itself. Miriel mentions consequences from breaking a Vow, all of Radagon's kids with Marika turned out deformed in some way. Vows and holding to one's word are deeply important in ER, as shown by...
