    Remember, it's a 2nd Order world. In canon, there was a Mech Design Contest in a 2nd Order world, one for basicaly fresh from Uni desigers, and they made those mechs literaly in 12 hours. Novice designers. Custom, if shitty mechs, from nothing to built, in 12 hours.
