The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Definitely only hibernating! I still jot down ideas for it now and then, I just haven't been able to get words flowing properly for an actual update. IRL problems have mostly cleared up recently so hopefully I'll manage to get writing again before too long.
"Are the current political debates surrounding ____ a current political topic?"
...yes. Yes they are.
I don't think the specific topic, COVID or otherwise, really matters in this case.
It's a bit of a hassle, but you can use x3 to prevent the x3 from being interpreted as x3. Breaking up the exact character string with empty tags also works, e.g. x3.
Those browser warnings don't mean the site they pop up on was compromised, they mean that the password you used and/or have saved for the site was also used on some site that was compromised. Depending on what the browser is doing this could mean your username/email and password combo showing up...
Somehow I knew before even reading this thread that it was going to be about Nasuverse nonsense. Dammit, Japan.
That said, I would like to point out that filtering AO3 for explicit M/M fics including Jesus Christ returns over a hundred results, therefore your argument is invalid.
It's kind of its own thing. At the most basic level, it's interactive storytelling where the audience votes on what happens next in some fashion. Generally anything more detailed or specific than that will depend on the individual quest and should be explained somewhere in an early and/or...
You know, I feel like you'd be better served making a single "is it okay for me to ambiguously push the boundaries of Rule 8 in a thread nobody will actually reply to" thread so that the staff can give a single, probably ambivalent, response and everyone can move on with their lives.
