The regular administrative staff are taking a vacation, and in the meantime, Biigoh is taking over. See here for more information.
A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.
Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
Also, Mother/Daughter is more often used for "the mc has sex with both mother and daughter together" aka oyakodon, rather than "mother and daughter do an incest." It's a completely different fetish.
If you look a few posts up from the post of yours that I'm quoting, you'll see a post where I explain it. The other tags should still exist and be usable, it's just that the search and filter functions will treat them all as being the same "parent" tag. Thus, the problem you're bringing up...
I believe the intent is to do as Ultima has already done with a few specific tags semi-recently, which merges the tags functionally for searching but leaves them all extant.
Basically, you start with say, "HI3rd," "Honkai Impact," "Honkai Impact Third," "Honkai Impact 3rd," etc. The merger...
Yes, searching by tag is an option if you use the Advanced Search, and you can include as many tags as you want. Though, the search will only give you stories that include all the tags you include. There's no way to search by something like "at least 3 of these 5" or anything like that, so...
That would defeat the purpose of this. Which was to make it so that a bunch of rule violations, both past and future, would stop being rule violations, and therefore we wouldn't have to deal with them.
I could check back in the staff discord once I get home, if you want. I'm pretty sure Rule34...
That part, at least, we don't have to worry about. Strictly speaking. As Ultima put it recently in the staff Discord:
There's a lot of stuff that we are able to allow because we don't need to worry about keeping ad companies happy. And the site is a lot less dodgy for your computer's security...
Users who lied about their age when they created their account, because they were under 18, then later at some point after they were over 18 for real they asked staff to fix it. It's a strictly voluntary for funnies thing, we offer to give it but it's up to the user themselves whether or not...
This isn't a new rule. The rule was already in place. The only thing that's changed is that now QQ automatically breaks certain links that violate the rule by replacing some of the text. The reason being that we noticed a crap-ton of rule violations, and we didn't want to go through all of them...
For anybody who might be confused about the wording of the announcement post re: "those sites" that have been affected by this filter, it is referring to some popular manga readers with a download option.
I see, I see. And what, pray tell, shall be the usage of these payments? I of course, fully support our most august and glorious king of fluff, but I am a poor man, underfunded and unpaid for my past work by the old regime. Surely, a kind and righteous ruler such as yourself would never allow...
I can. Before I do so however, I want you to confirm you want it. Sometimes people ask for this sort of thing, and then change their minds. Note that there is no guarantee we will unban you later if you ask.
Either that's supposed to be some kind of edgy joke, in which case cringe, or it's supposed to be some kind of threat, in which case I'm amused at the attempt but you're gonna get banned for harassment.
If someone is hurling insults at you, then rules about people hurling insults apply.
Giving special treatment to referencing Tumblr however, more than we would for anything else being used as an insult or descriptor? No. Rule 9: No words are outright forbidden, nor will there be a list of...
I actually am staff, and the general rule is that it should be a "new and significant contribution." What that means in this context, is something new for or about the story in particular. Things like fanart you made for it, an omake of significant length (and preferably quality), mention that...
At the risk of "being a staff member with a personal opinion," good. That's the #1 rule of internet safety: do not give out personal information of any kind, unless it directly relates to what you are doing.
A site asks for your address? Are you asking them to ship you something? No? Then they...
