Tanya's plan for a safe future failed when she fell to an idealistically vengeful foe. Now, she's trapped in a fantastical new world with even more meddling 'gods'. Far from the cushy life she planned for.

Why would she do this, it is quite obvious she isn't in the Empire."Major Tanya Degurechaff, 203rd Aerial Mage Battalion, reporting," she announced, her words clear and concise despite the split lip. "Requesting immediate medical assistance for injuries sustained in the line of duty. And perhaps a bed to collapse on, if you have one available."
And why are the monsters dissolving like the Grimm from RWBY? The whole point of Supporters isn't just to carry supplies, but to harvest the monsters for their stones. Only once the stone has been removed do the monsters dissolve.
Delirium, most likely. Why would she do this, it is quite obvious she isn't in the Empire.
Ah, it was a change they made. Probably didn't want any vivisection happening on TV... Thanks for the clarification on that.Because they do in the Anime.
The LN makes has proper dead bodies and supporters do work, but the Anime makes it more RPG like that the enemies just drop their stones and dissolve when killed.

To get a Falna, she would have to join a Familia, which... could happen? It depends on whether Tanya is willing to tolerate joining a Familia and be in service to a god, even for a time, or if she's too adamant about doing things her own way. Honestly, I can kinda hilariously see her still gaining some kind of power relating to opposing gods, as the skills gained often reflect the qualities in a person. Regardless of how she does, I'm already excited to see Tanya wreak havoc on Orario because that's just how she is, even when she's supposedly trying to follow the rules and blend in.I wonder if she ever gets a Falna, because of this whole thing about Tanya hating deities, she would get an ability related to deicide
Sure your in the right place? You can find reddit threads that hate on Tanya that would suit your tasteI kind of hope Tanya mouths off to the wrong God and gets the crap kicked out of her.
Apollo famila is powerful enough that they can do shit like this, Orario runs on might makes right (as long as you don't break specific rules), unless some more powerful familia gets involved, there isn't much Tanya can do than just pay the debt. Can they really fine you for the alleged profits? How long did it take to throw her at the medical bed and drop some potions? She was at the entrance right?
She can probably lawyer off some of that debt.
The system smells less of recompense and more of gathering slaves.

Recently read some fanfics which makes a few interesting points about Danmachi.Apollo famila is powerful enough that they can do shit like this, Orario runs on might makes right (as long as you don't break specific rules), unless some more powerful familia gets involved, there isn't much Tanya can do than just pay the debt.
It's bullshit, but that is Danmachi.
...Um, no. Danmachi is not light-handed on how the majority of the gods are absolute scumbags and the better ones tend more to 'tolerable' than 'good'. Even the nicer ones are not willing to do anything to reign in the worst, who predictably tend to be strong. In most ways the setting pretty much validates all her beliefs about gods. It's not like Apollo familia played the extortion game by accident.Less like slavery and more like extortion and ethical bankruptcy

The problem with all the 'nicer' gods you described is that even with them it is exceedingly rare for them to make any effort to help people outside their familia - even gods like Loki who are in a pretty good position to make changes to the city. I think the closest I can come up with is Miach, who sometimes gives out free potions to people in need, and maybe Ganesha for his parties. The fact that most familias (at least as far as I could see) are in a more informal,
maybe even familial, relationship with their gods would certainly help as well
there doesn't seem to be all that much blind devotion/supplication going on in the Hestia/Loki/Hephaestus/Miach Familias
many Familias are somewhere on the spectrum between a family-owned-and-run-business and a "normal"-corporation
Cause deities are a bunch of bored toddlers following their whims. Not having a way for them 'force recruit' mortals or from weaker familias probably just makes the collateral from when they try to do it anyways illegally that much worse. Probably not usually an issue here, cause this is Orario if you didn't want anything to do with the Adventuring business what the hell are you doing in the city whose focused solely on the adventuring business and for most one god is almost as good as another. Even if you get forcefully recruited from one god you vastly prefer all you got to do is wait a year and your old god might challenge to get you back (at which point go right ahead on your 'backstabbing' to help them). Key word there is 'might', divine attention spans aint something to write home about.Honestly I never got the inclusion of forced recruitment, even in Danmachi canon.
Cause even if 'a level 1 adventurer' could kill them upon realising they were about to die they could unleash their divine power (they're getting kicked out anyways for their shell being killed so why not) and unleash who knows what divinity backed curses on whatever fool, family, city or country did the act and they probably aint picky about collateral at that point. And then they'd be in the heavens, waiting, for when the fool who killed them dies so they can fuck them in the afterlife too.Honestly I never got the inclusion of forced recruitment, even in Danmachi canon.
Like, Danmach Gods aren't any stronger than an un-enhanced human, even a level 1 adventurer could kill them.
Their life, which needless to say most adventurers (and people for that matter) don't actually want to lose. And then their afterlife under the now spiteful god whose once in an eternity holiday they just ended early.Yah sure, the backlash would kill them too, but if they get to that point, what have they got to lose?
Which works fine when the god has higher level adventurers, or even more experienced level 1s. Which Apollo has plenty of, up to a fanatically loyal level 3. Then there's the gods who don't care if you delve or not, which I get the feeling Apollo is one of given he treats his familia more as a collection rather than a business. Other members might not be so understanding, see a certain level 3, but hey that's an intrafamilia issue and nobody else is probably going to care about a familia captain 'disciplining' what he says is a 'rowdy' level 1.More than that, the only way to force them to work for you in the dungeon would be to what, force them inside at swordpoint?
And then they probably die in the dungeon, overwhelmed by the monsters they're now facing alone. Likely also injured by their betrayed comrades. And if they do survive and manage to climb their way to surface (cause as fresh level 1 little chance you survive to reach floor 17-18, whichever the safe floor is) well then they get found out the moment they come in for a status update, or even sooner given that you cannot lie to a god and they'd be wondering where your comrades disappeared to. They will know. Or maybe you choose to run the moment you leave the dungeon, then the familia can hunt you down at their leisure to ask some pointed question, or hell maybe that hunk of a god's power you've got branded on your back can be actively tracked by said god so they can point their other adventurers right at you. At which point you're guilty of murder and have no divine backing to protect yourself from punishment. They say what happens in the dungeon stays in the dungeon, well that only works when there's no evidence (Which there often isn't) or if one's deity is likely to get pissy about someone else interfering with their familia. If its your own deity handing you in they probably don't even bother with trial just sentencing (Considering how pissy deities can get about interfering with their familia literally having 'your own' deity have you arrested probably means that they have proof and what you did was considered reprehensible enough by them). That's a great idea in the Dungeon, where your surrounded by danger, lets have someone motivated to kill their 'comrads' instead of helping.
A max of 30 days to go to ground in a country she knows nothing about, travelling at cart-speeds at most. Against adventurers who could probably cover the same distance in days with far better than mortal senses to track down any trace. She'd honestly be better off hiding inside the city, of course then she'd better not ever do anything to draw attention to herself or visit the guild because Apollo did all this 'legally' so the guild would have to report her presence. She is healed, and she has 30 days, she could just leave the city.
Its very unlikely the Apollo group has someone watching her, and the guild wouldn't have the manpower either.
All the security for the city is dialed towards keeping people out, not in.
