    Human auxiliaries to mechanized forces often act to avoid violence and pursue self preservation. In order to compel useful actions, AI overseers on both sides of the war withhold supplies in exchange for objectives to be fulfilled on battlefield. Mechanical and automated forces have pulled back farther and farther due to immense risk of valuable resource loss from unknown phenomena destroying precious mechanisms, so deserters have been left unbothered long enough to organize, fortify underground settlements in frozen swamp, and begin making alliances against incursion forces seeking to monopolize, obliterate, or otherwise control food and water supplies, once scarce but now abundant in Frozen Swamp region.

    Scavengers enjoying immense benefit from ongoing chaos, due to abundance of high quality loot, randomized buildings and landscapes providing great distractions and hiding places, and new settlements resulting in increased demands for Scavenger workforce. Consider reaching out to local notables BAGMAN and SHAMAN for cooperation? GUNHEAD in area of operations, known useful asset in matters of violence. Opportunities provide immense temptation, but local TERRORLEVEL increases imply immense military offensives in near future - many pros and cons to consider.
