A general discussion thread, for the titular series. Probably mostly the Netflix series, since that's what's coming out, but books too. Keep spoilers in spoilers please, including for the books; some of us haven't actually finished them.

Just watched the first episode of it on Netflix, and god damn is it amazing. NPH is of course amazing, loved the Wes Anderson-style aesthetic, loved Patrick Walburton. Great enunciation, pacing, and as always I love his voice.

And of course, Will Arnett and Cobie Smulders showing up at the end is just candy.

More content-wise, perfect style of humor for me. Like the totally-not-obviously-suspicious eye symbols all around? *swoons*.
One of my favorite bits is that (as far as I could tell), each time someone tells them what a word means, they actually get it a bit wrong, like saying "perished" means "killed", when it actually means "were killed". Passive, not active. Mmmmmmm.

Going to watch the next one probably tomorrow; want to actually savor it, though the urge to binge is deep.

Edit: Orrrrr not. Okay then. Nevermind... :(
