haha not yet although were's my 2 dollars lol but kidding but soon some excitement should be happening
thank you !
interesting Idea, the curriculum might be somthing similar to Strixhaven of Magic with extra bits. not all students can do all the curriculum, might need to specialise into mage professions.Tftc, the curriculum could be based on dnd/Pathfinder magic schools or if you wanna do something weird consider the curriculum of Strixhaven of Magic the gathering
haha preferably adults first , once he has taught or gathered his 10 to be his main teachers he can go for the others - he needs a core group first - would love to blow kids flash mind with magic though hahaDoes he have to teach an adult? I would have guessed that he would go for Raven or maybe even Kid Flash. Make that non-believer into Merlin expy.
Famous last words.
In previous chapter(chapter 5) he bought an Audi R8 Spyder.I walked out to where I'd parked my rental car, a basic sedan I'd picked up after the estate closed. It wasn't my beautiful Alfa Romeo I'd lost, but it almost as good. That was enough for now.
I grabbed my wallet, which now contained a driver's license that looked twenty years old despite being printed three days ago, and headed downstairs. The mansion was quiet, empty, full of potential. I'd need to furnish it properly, set up classrooms, create living spaces for students who might need them. But that could wait.
"That's correct," I said, keeping my story simple. Vance's people had been thorough. There was a police report on file, a documented fire at an apartment complex in Seattle that had never actually happened but existed in all the right databases.
When did he talk to Vance or his people after healing him?I handed over the license. For the second form, I pulled out a university ID that claimed I'd graduated from Boston University in 2008 with a PhD in History. It was entirely fabricated, but the university's records had been updated to reflect my existence. I'd checked.
Thanks for the catch, I swear I corrected that haha,In previous chapter(chapter 5) he bought an Audi R8 Spyder.

That's not what within seventy two hours meansWarning: Expect attention from established magical communities within 72 hours.
Great. So I had three days before every mage on the West Coast knew I was here.
Great thank you! : changed to after 72 hours instead. no beta so thanks for the catch. That's not what within seventy two hours means
Within 72 hours means any time between now and 72 hours from now.
It's Felix Faust, no? I feel like the real test Diana'd be going for there is how well he minimizes collateral damage.Fight time! Will he work together with Diana or will she sideline him and call the league for backup?
Evil and good are relative things but being a dick should just not be allowed.I needed him grateful, indebted, but not powerful. I needed him to think magic was beyond his reach.
"No," I lied smoothly. "Magic isn't something you can learn like a skill or a trade. It's genetic. You're either born with the capacity or you're not. I can sense it in people, the potential for magic. You don't have it.
Couldn't he just teach him manually? I thought this ability was similar to a Shazam situation whereas "normal" magical study is just studying with no inherent cost. The [Magic Bestowal] power scaled with importance. Batman was crucial to this world, a linchpin that held Gotham together. Giving him magic would grant him incredible power, sure. But it would also drain me completely, probably for weeks. And more importantly, it was comic-accurate that Batman didn't handle power well. Every story where Bruce got superpowers ended with him going too far, becoming too controlling, losing the humanity that made him effective
So I have some hopefully constructive criticism, the set up you have here makes it so that he has some pretty big points about how he is basically a reality warper, any time he struggles with the current setup will just feels disingenuous as " well why didn't you just do this?" Is a genuine question as he has enough magical knowledge and power that he really can do just about anything at the drop of a hat and with time that just about disappears almost entirely. That statement about how doctor fate would beat him is something I agree with but only while he remains inexperienced as anything doctor fate knows he also knows but probably better and with a whole lot else as well.It might be to late now but as an idea you could keep in mind for future writing is to give him some disadvantage or perhaps limitation on what he got so that whenever he fails it doesn't feel like he was given an idiot ball. A example for each is for a disadvantage would be that the world fights back so while he can do just about anything and everything if he pushes to far the world itself will slap back, and for a limitation could be that yes he does have all of this knowledge, however his magical reserves are not anything special which means that while his spells that he can cast semi casually are a lot better than they have any right to be that only takes him so far and he would have to use rituals against particularly powerful enemies, this would also allow him to progress through training his reserves, making magical items to make up for his shortcomings, and still make him an excellent teacher as his raw power or lack there of would not hamper that.Ironically hadn't thought of that, but no he does not have mastery of divine magic because that is in the realm of gods, I want him to have some progression with the story and if i made him all powerful reality warper what would be the point? I thought people would understand it would mean mortal magic? This doesn't mean he won't learn to do divine magic once he unlocks [Traverse]. the story is still in its beginning stages so not everything will have an explanation haha need to keep some mystery
This is sorta what I meant by feeling disingenuous as if this was a lord of order or chaos or something like that it could make sense but unless I am not remembering right and underestimating him I just don't see how someone like him could brute force his wards at all as I just don't see him being good enough to survive lethal trap wards made by an archmage. The standard barrier held. The lethal response layer is activated, fire and lightning lashing out at the attacker. He deflected it with casual ease, barely breaking his assault.
This was someone powerful, experienced, and very, very angry.
Diana appeared at my shoulder, looking out the window. "Felix Faust," she said, her voice tight with recognition. "He is a criminal sorcerer and dealer in dark magic. He's been quiet for months. I thought the we had him contained."
