I've noticed a lot of people bumping dead fics and being asked "Please don't do that" because it sends an alert.

I also get a LOT of alerts, and most of them are user replies, not chapter updates. Would it be possible to part the two? I know the alert ones for chapter say "Author has added x.xk words to thread "Ficname" but I was hoping for more granularity.

I was hoping to refine my alerts to just the chapter updates. As much as I enjoy the discourse, I'm here for the fic.
 
I adjusted to deselect replies in thread from non-op, it's almost EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Thank you.
