Idea: Read This What If: Reply to this What If:

What if Rickard the father of Ned and Lord of Winterfell got shipwrecked on an Island on his way to Kings Landing to return Brandon and Lyanna after going through a wild storm? What If he was lost there (wherever there is, Skagos maybe?) for 17 years and finally gets to Westeros around the time of the War of the Five Kings?

Better yet, what If he finally reaches Robb just before he is about to execute Rickard Karstark?

"Who are you? And why are you chopping the head off my cousin Rickard?"
