  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

When I click a link to a post in a thread, the autoscroll feature doesn't work. It takes way too long, with the screen reader reading everything on the page from the top. I end up getting frustrated midway through and switching to mobile which doesn't have this problem.
The devices used:
Mac book pro
iPhone 13 Pro
Browser: Safari
Screen reader: Apple Voiceover

That's an issue with your screen reader not QQ.

Does QQ not have a smooth scroll animation or something along those lines? If yes than that could be the issue. Honestly idk because I use the same screen reader on mobile and there isn't a problem.
Also what happens is the browser loads the website and sends me to the top, then scrolls down.
I hope it is a QQ issue, because if it isn't I'm gonna have to never use QQ on laptop, which is kind of inconvenient.

Xenforo does not animate that, no. It just jumps to the correct point on the page or just loads in there. This is the normal behavior of most websites in general.

The only time it scrolls the page is if you click someone's name in quote header and the post it's quoting is on the same page.

If your screen reader requires the webpage to animate scrolling in order to jump, you need to get a new screen reader, because that's not normal and you'll have issues with far more sites than just QQ.

The smooth scroll would have possibly been the problem, but since QQ doesn't have it idk what's causing the issue on mac. I'll just use QQ on mobile then, its whatever.
If anyone else faces this issue, a work around is if the post is a threadmark than just click the link in the threadmark list and it jumps you there. Other than that use QQ on mobile because that jumps to the post like its supposed too. I'll check my browser settings maybe there's away to fix it there.

Question, did you happen to turn off signatures? Because I know from previous issues people have had that doing that sometimes causes the page to not jump to the right spot.
