I remember reading Book 1 oh so long ago. Book 2 got a bit long, and I suffered from fetish divergence. But I'm glad to see this going.
And I'm definitely going back for Windborne (man that's a blast from the past).
I mean, sure, but I think 3K words is fairly compact for the purposes of tackling the 81.7K words worth of story I read. And while it's longer than a good chunk of fanfiction stories and slots nicely into the 2-4K range some published work fits in, it doesn't come close to others.
Yeah, that sounds familiar. It's just been too long, and I should really get on with reading the re-write.Nodoka had been considering the change since at least "Girl Talk" (which predates Eve)
That was some enjoyable HAM and distracting, I'll have you know.Heh, in fairness Blood Debts was a bit deliberate in having the Dresden and Ranma HAM stuff while having other character development slip by.
I haven't actually gotten past book 1 yet, and part of that's because I've been force fed a couple of Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories, more than a few detective shows mostly from different series, and a couple movies. Most of them follow the formula, so the only Dresden trope around is probably the "And by the end, everything was on fire, and it wasn't my fault." Well, and using magic to track things and people. That's solidly Dresden from what I understand, and jokes about the Blue Beetle. There is a lot Svartalfheim could offer House BlackSky and vise versa
Yah, Invisible Hand did have a lot of Dresden Tropes in execution, and well a lot of the story formula.
Ah, okay. Yeah, it just missed that key sentence or two to get that across. For the Mikki falling on her sword part. I suppose it wasn't clear, but that's the whole reason she stayed behind and continued to fight her.
Alright, flee was a bit of hyperbole, but she certainly wasn't there showing Ranma around Silvana or otherwise interacting with the group after the dinner. It's a pair of maids fussing over Ranma and Usagi, not Yohko's daughters.
I misread that as off-Planet. But sure, sky whales, Stirling powered sky whale glory. Maybe it has sterling silver, too, just so we can confuse Stirling and sterling in the future.Though the ships aren't actually space whales, they're just a bit whale-shaped zeppelins.
Well, that's not ominous at all. Well, I guess I can cross off 'accidentalies a harem to mirror the fact that Jupiter's major moons are named after Jupiter/Zeus' lovers' from the list of possibilities... or maybe change that the 'unwanted harem' since this is a Ranma 1/2 crossover...
Well, the alternative was something like...
"Might," you say, like there's any doubt to be had.You might have fun with "Our Sister, the Idiot" when it comes out.
It's been clear for quite awhile that Chibi is Ranma's kid. I mean, I guess something else could be happening, but it's been farily broadly telegraphed. The 'It's not like there's anyone human here' is only the second most blatant she's been.I really love this! I have a feeling Chibi-usa is already a succubus (pink is a very succubus color, anyways), and Mercury will become one (if she does, I think she might actually chill out…) soon enough. Still loving Ranma X Usagi and learning more about where that goes.

Ranma getting caught of the sheer between her own exceptional talents at the Great Game and her reluctance to actually acknowledge her participation remains one of her more intriguing traits. Especially in light of her and Usagi continued mutual drift together.
