Could we please get normal proxie'd images instead of Twitter post embeds with tracking callbacks?
The post you're using as an example is a video, not an image.It already works for people who specify a Twitter-hosted image. It is possible and I already see it working. Not sure what you're imagining, but you appear to be wrong.

There's no need to embed a call to the Twitter servers for a proxy-compatible image like that.

BTW, there's now a trend for YouTube to prohibit embeds from actually working, so those ones are just spying without providing value in return:
This is worse than a link would be, and I need to follow the link anyway to see whatever is in the video.
We're looking at a forum feature with negative value.
Please just disable media embeds.
