At some point yesterday, a couple things changed on the forums and I didn't notice a downtime, site notification, etc.

For one thing, the direct links to pages on the threads list are now permanently visible on the entire page. Previously you needed to hover over the thread rows. Sadly the thread hover previews don't pop-up like they did before. I frequently used them; while they may not be as helpful as they are on the newer XenForo (or do they use a plugin for that on SB, et al), I still found the feature helpful. Is there a chance to get them back? Thanks!

...That sounds like something changed in how your browser interacts with the page, to me. Did your browser update, perhaps? Or something going wrong with how your browser detects whether you're using a touch screen for input?

No to both. When I noticed the changes yesterday, I didn't even restart the browser.

I've visited QQ with a couple different browsers to check, both logged in and not. Same behavior. Another thing I've noticed just now is the alerts pop-up on the top right of the page, which always opened on a mouse hover before and requires a click now.

It's weird that I'm experiencing this across devices and you're apparently not.

Well, I haven't checked multiple devices yet. But that example with the alerts sounds exactly like the default touchscreen behavior.

I know that SV/SB ran into a problem with touchscreen detection a while back, which is why I thought of it.
