Your stamina is ridiculous, even as a regular human you could run a marathon and not be winded, you also recover from exhaustion really fast and it takes a lot to get you exhausted.

You can transform into an Ifrit, a spirit born from fire, while you are an Ifrit you cannot use water or water-based abilities but all of your fire abilities are much stronger and you have natural flame generation.

That… is a difficult choice, if I already had a way to defend myself, I would have taken relentless stamina, as I feel like Ifrit is more of a booster for Fire Abilities than an actual attack of itself.

But it does have some offensive ability, so I choose Ifrit.

After doing so, the screens disappear into a glowing orb, one blue and the other purple. The blue one disappears like a candle going out, but the purple one flies to me and enters my chest.

I think about it for a good while, and eventually conclude that rolling now is better than rolling later, at least now I have the Ticket Upgrade bonus.

That can be more problematic. This will make getting allies difficult, and depending on what world I get isekaied to, could become a massive issue.

But what is done is done, the only thing I can do now is roll.

This is more like it, while Truthspeaker is great, Hunter directly augments my fighting ability.

Picking the latter of the options, I felt good about myself, I was on a high.

Maybe because of that, I didn't think to stop rolling. After all, the Curses weren't that bad, right?

So you could understand when I suddenly paled at the Curse I rolled.

The shadow will do its very best to murder you in a berserk fashion and will not stop until it is killed. Once killed, it will return after some time. While the shadow is not sentient or capable of communication, it is intelligent. The physical and magical stats of the Shadow always equal your own.

Skills were immediately out, while not technically useless because they became talent, I needed time to use them effectively.

Familiars were eliminated next, while a companion wouldn't be a bad thing, that depended entirely on what world I was transported to.

Next were Items, I just didn't want to rely on them if I could help it.

That left me with Abilities or Traits. I already had decent abilities, so I chose the latter.

The moment I thought so, the gacha started spinning.

That… could be better. I expected more from a Diamond Ticket.

Before the stupid thing could ask me again if I wanted to spin, I said, "Yes."

That one is… actually useful. It could make for a quick escape if I was ever in danger.

But I didn't really care at the moment, I just wanted power.

Your parents were killed in a car crash. Doesn't matter who they were, they just were. At the least the parents who were supposed to raise you anyway.

This was more a blessing than a curse, I didn't think I could act as if I cared about my family in this new world.

But it also made me suspicious, the gacha has been unusually good these last 2 rolls, and I didn't know when the other shoe was going to drop.
