Daggerheart Dungeon Crawler Experiment

Elisa IC: Oh dang that lizard guy's getting ganged up on. Better go help him.
Elisa goes over and tries to kick one goblin with her wooden leg and punch another one with her arm.

(+1 for strength?)
GM OOC: Yes, that is correct, and you succeed in the attack, roll for damage. Also, you have Hope, so give yourself Hope.

@Necrorifter I also notice that you roll your attack with 2d6 when it should be 2d12. Try again, you can give yourself an advantage for my blunder in not noticing the mistake.

Now I shall save that for my slayer die as well as roll for damage.

GM IC: Both Necro and Elisa work together with their fiery and wooden attacks, eliminating 4 goblins in a single go. The large group greatly shrank to only a few goblins left.

GM OOC: There are only 6 goblins. Feel free to decide who will take the spotlight next.

Necro OCC: Go ahead, Elisa. I am planning to use my greatsword and Whirlwind domain, if I gain a hope, to finish off whatever you didn't do.

OOC: so can I like......parkour off the walls to get a running start and just like bam bam bam like run across those goblins like bowling pins?

GM OOC: There is no wall, as this is a decent-sized chamber, but there are plenty of goblin huts and stone half-walls that you can use instead. In that event, roll an Agility check with a DC of 10. The difference between that and your number above that determines how many goblins you successfully take down this way. However, if you roll with Fear and didn't take them all down in the first try, then you are putting yourself in a perfect spot for them to Group Attack you with advantage because you run into their group of spears, same for if you fail the DC of 10.

GM IC: Elisa immediately bounced and spun around the half-walls and huts at high speed, taking out goblin by goblin with each run until they all were lying there unconscious.

GM OOC: You successfully take out goblins in the room. I will gain a Fear for a total of 5 Fear.

Necro IC: Necro swung his greatsword, decapitating unconscious goblins one by one as they breed fast, so leave one alive, risk a horde returning in the future.

Elisa IC: Heck yeah, got 'em! Nice job, lizard dude. Now again, where the heck are we? Let's keep exploring I guess.

Necro IC: "We are in a dungeon infested by goblins. I was contracted to deal with this infestation before goblins grow large enough to overrun the nearby village." Necro explained as he held the greatsword tightly while looking for where to go next.

GM IC: Both Necro and Elisa wander through the dimmed, narrow hallway, which is lit by spluttering torches, before it sharply turns east into yet another hallway altrough this one is wider before it narrows again in the end.

GM OOC: Please roll for Difficulty 10 Instinct.

GM OOC: Both of you succeed. Also, @harshmnr, don't forget about Hope, since you didn't mention it.

GM IC: Necro and Elisa both immediately notice a slight shadow on the south wall right before the turn, a small push from Necro causes the wall to slide ajar, secret passage! It opens up south-east into a small room.

There is a narrow passage at the end of the east wall, no doubt back to the same hallway. It was then that both adventurers spotted 3 green ooze resting on the ceiling next to the east wall, just out of view of anyone who entered this room from the said passageway. They don't seem to be doing much beyond droopily lowly, as if they are ready to drop on unsuspecting victims.

To the west wall is a closed chest.

Okkk got a hope.

Elisa: Huh little slimy guys. I guess we can just sneak past them and let's check out this chest?

OOC: Can I inspect the chest for how to open it?

Necro IC: Necro turns to Elisa, "Good thing we found this secret passage. They are blind and slow but lethal on contact. Dungeon Cleaners, we call them. We should be able to check the chest without them doing anything to us as long as we don't go under them... unless you think you can handle them?"

GM OOC: You can roll for it, but unless you are using something that asks for it, it is generally better not roll for it unless either you want to risk potentially backfire for narrative purposes or I ask for it. Unless we play together enough that you know when you will be asked to roll, or not to save everybody the time of asking each other to roll.

For this one, the chest is a simple pop and lift open. No lock or anything.

Elisa to Necro: nah we can just ignore them as long as they stay there we can just slide by. Now do you want to do to the honors? (Gestures to the chest)

Necro IC: Necro just walks over and pops open the chest to see what goodies are inside.
GM IC: What greeting Necro when he opens is a dull prism object.

GM OOC: You will need to roll for Difficulty 15 Knowledge to see if you identify what it is. @harshmnr, if you try to roll for it as well, you will do it with disadvantage (roll an extra d6 and subtract your roll with that) since Elisa is not of this world and won't know for certain, but she is from Earth and as such might recognize it among the fantasy genre.

GM IC: Necro was able to identify it as Arcane Prism, an object that is used among spellcasters.

GM OOC: I gain a Fear for a total of 6 Fear. Here is what you add to your inventory.

Arcane Prism (Position this prism in a location of your choosing and activate it. All allies within Close range of it gain a +1 bonus to their Spellcast Rolls. While activated, the prism can't be moved. Once the prism is deactivated, it can't be activated again until your next long rest.)

@harshmnr

Necro IC: Necro widens his eyes. It is not useful for him, but it can fetch quite a price in the magical community. He turns to Elisa, "I cannot really use this, but I can sell it for a good price. Do you need this?"

Necro OOC: We are obviously planning to go back through the secret passageway and explore the east hallway.
