So on the vidya rant thread I came across a stray thought.
Anyone else annoyed that Goku is the only one who learned and used Kaioken? It was never taught to anyone else, even though it seems like a no brainer. It wasnt until Super that Toei/Toriyama remembered it existed. And damn, applied well it seems like a really useful tool for non Saiyans. Piccolo might have been able to stay relevant, Cell would have been a hell of a lot more dangerous, and maybe since its the Kaio ken, the Kaioshen could receive special boost from it?
The base mode doubles power output, while when Goku starts multiplying it, it appears to go from 2x(k1) to 3x(k2) and so on or something like 2
(k2) and so on. What if for the Kais, its was exponential? Standard Kaioken 2x. But for the Kais, Kaiokenx4 would be 2×2×2×2? 16 instead of 8?
But apparently, and Toriyama herp a derped. And now DBS is literally animated what ifs.
