You are doing very fine and utilizing the trope well. The characters are well thought out and is imaginable in my head.

The only problem I have is not explaining how the system works properly. Does it have a limit? Or does it just increase the skill indefinitely? And such.

Well I'm glad you think my fic deserves more attention! I didn't really think I was writing anything that would have any comments at all until I'd written more chapters so I'm pretty happy with the fact that so many people already spend their time reading my work...

As for the limits of the system weeell...that kinda stuff is something I'm not going to spoil so soon. Obviously from what has been shown a reader can conclude that the system isn't the omnipotent kind and does have limits, but that might only be in certain aspects. The fact is that Dan hasn't explored all abilities of the system and you will only get to know at the same time as him...
 
Am i the only one who would ignore the 4 cloaked men dipping with a random kid.. I mean the fact that it is a stranger means there is no way imma play hero when ion have a safety net to fall back on especially if i have someone i care about with me
