I try to hint as to these things, but that is intentional. The idea, more or less, is to reflect the fact that she's doing these things in a way that most people wouldn't pick up on and the best way to reflect that is to even mostly conceal it from the reader. Though, again, I am attempting to put in hints as to what's happened; as well as doing my best to never contradict the truth. Merely... Omit it.
