Just found out about the passing of another old writer, Scriviner... from the days of FFML, TFF... ancient days before the turning of the millennium.

Similarly, H.P. Lovecraft gained cult status posthumously, while John Kennedy Toole's Pulitzer-winning novel was published only after his tragic suicide, a testament to how some brilliant literary voices are truly discovered long after their time.

I appreciated his wit, his spine, and his cantankerous posts regarding things he was passionate about, and his stories had a certain charm to them I doubt anyone can just imitate nowadays.

Darth Vulcan will now be forever be left incomplete, not to say all of his comic works.

And I doubt he kept notes about how he'd continue things.

He was ill though, and was confined to a hospice last I knew about his situation.
