Except that you now have bones that aren't being dissolved inside you and somehow you can control these bones. Something else must have been in that body as you feel funny. Which is strange since you've never felt anything at all until now.

[X] A wizard did it. Okay, not really. Finding a dead wizard by chance, you slowly absorbed the dead man's body. At some point, you managed to get into his pouch full of experimental potions and absorbed them. The mixture of magical potions that were probably not legal in any magical lab has set off a magical reaction within you, forming a vague sort of true intelligence. Somehow you can now do some magical tricks, mostly useless tricks but it's still magic!

As far as you could remember (which pretty much amounts to five minutes ago) you were completely mindless save for a vague instinct to absorb any matter you manage to engulf and divide when you had absorbed your weight in matter. Such was the state of the typical slime. However, you stopped being a mindless entity of gloop when you absorbed a white glowing feather. Perhaps it was fate, or maybe it was just luck. Whatever the case may be, the feather was the catalyst that started everything.

It began innocently enough, you came into contact with some white thing. You covered the white thing. You began absorbing the white thing.

And just like that, you were struck by a divine providence.

You understood something, an absolute earth-shattering fact of the world, of life, the question to 42, everything! And you came to understand your place in the universe and you felt a contentment like nothing ever before.

In order to withstand this deluge of revelations, something was needed, something that you never had before.

And thus you grew a mind. The strain from forming a mind just like that forced you to suppress much of what had been revealed to you but you will never forget that feeling of knowing complete and utter serenity, a state of mind that almost no-one has ever achieved. After the feeling had faded, you now feel an immense emptiness within you. Now armed with a mind, you understand that you must find a way to fill that emptiness.

Right then, you're like fifty feet in the air, sticking to a branch of a ridiculously large tree and you're now starving. The emptiness must be fed, whether it be filled with dissolved matter or knowledge things! Looking around your immediate vicinity, you sight more trees, more green, a trio of pointy eared folks, trees, pine trees, leaves, branches, logs - Wait, pointy eared folks?

Elves, long lived pointy eared people that keeps killing other slimes. You know this because you were step on by one a long time ago. How do you still remember this? You don't have a goddamn clue!

At any rate, it seems those elves are loafing about beneath this huge-ass tree you're in. Huh, they're tiny compare to their usual size. Come to think of it, how the hell did you get up in this tree in the first place?

Eh, no point thinking to hard about it! You're in one and that's all that matters at the moment.

And filling the void. Can't ever forget that!

The hunger in your gelatinous form vibrates with ferocity. You must feed. And you only know one way to do so. Engulf and dissolve!

Unceremoniously, you decide to drop down upon these elves. The moment you ooze off the branch, gravity takes hold of your form and you accelerate through the air downwards towards the elves.

Weird, it looks like the elves are getting larger. In fact, they quickly growing to their usual size. Oh hey, they're looking up now and they're -

*SPLAT*

"GAH!"

"Holy shit! A slime!?"

"Oh god, that's a new one!"

Oh wow, you've landed on the face of one of the elves. It seems that they're actually a lot bigger than you. At your current size, you can maybe cover an elf's head. Well at any rate, the elf that you've landed upon is now clawing at you, trying to pull you off of his face.

The other two are laughing their heads off.

Your hunger vibrates through you once more.

At this very moment, you're clinging to the face of some elf person thing who's trying to get you off. You're hungry for either something to dissolve into your body or for the tasty, tasty brain knowledge thing like those revelations you have.

What should you do in this kind of situation?

[ ] Try and get at the elf's brain knowledge thingy.
[ ] Hey, there's holes in this face thing. Maybe you can go in them?
[ ] Slide off and find something else to feed on.
[ ] Write In
