It has been nearly a year since my last update, and I wanted to take a moment to share a brief status report with those of you who have continued to follow this story with such patience and support.
Regrettably, progress on the fic has been minimal since the previous chapter. After completing the last few installments, I found that my reservoir of ideas had run dry, and the narrative momentum I had hoped to maintain began to falter. Rather than force subpar content, I chose to step back from the project temporarily to focus on other creative work and allow fresh inspiration to emerge naturally.
In that time, I've reflected on the story's direction and identified several promising new paths forward. However, implementing these changes will require substantial revisions, including some rewriting and retconning of earlier chapters to ensure the overall arc remains cohesive and compelling.
Quality has always been my highest priority with this fic, and I'm genuinely grateful to everyone who has stayed with Kratos and Narry this far. It means a great deal. At present, I am deeply immersed in a couple of new projects that are demanding most of my creative energy. As a result, I cannot offer a firm timeline for when I'll return to this story.
That said, this fic is far from abandoned. The journey is paused, not ended, and I fully intend to continue it when the timing and inspiration align. When that moment arrives, I look forward to bringing Kratos and Narry back into action, on their way toward the Sisters of Fate and whatever lies beyond.
