Well, Good Old Downloads has shut down for good it seems. I don't really know what else to say as I'm still shocked that it's actually happened. I'm really going to miss the site.

Edit: Downloads, not Games. :oops:

What? They posted on their official twitter 8 hours ago and nothing said anything about them shutting down.
 

We were the premier source for any new content from GOG.com and bought everything we could with our own hard-earned cash.

You seem to have made some sort of mistake. Good Old Downloads and Good Old Games are not the same site. Good Old games, both the site and the launcher, are working perfectly fine.

Edit: Good Old Downloads was a piracy site that bought a copy of the game from GOG, and then made the games available to download for free from their own website.
 
Yeah. good old downloads seems to be... Pirating good old games stuff. =/
