  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.

The last two times that I opened up "http://questionablequesting.com/index.php" I've gotten a list of alerts on the right side of my screen. It's kind of weird.
 
Same here. What's weirder is that I'm getting update alerts from threads that haven't updated in months. ???

teh elgee has enabled a mod that gives QQ an alert system

Same with me, only it's for stuff I never even posted or looked at. It's bloody weird.

Yeah. It's not even just threads that I've started. Basically, anything that I've ever posted in. Just got another two alerts for this thread, while I was writing this.

Same here, I find all the alerts for dead threads to be funny.
 
i think it's temporary once it runs out of old threads to notify you on it might stop.
 
Teh Elgee is working on getting the alert system working better.
 
Yes, I am trying to figure out how this thing works. The admin settings for it are unfortunately sparse.
 
Any alerts for voting up on people's posts? Cause that might get annoying fast.
 
No, the vote system is also a mod, thus Enotify doesn't interact with it.
