Image Proxy Issues

    Sometimes the image proxy (why do we have that, again?) will fail to load some images, resulting in an image embed which works fine in the post editor, but fails when the message is actually posted. This has become a lot less common since alethiophile increased the size limit a few months ago, but it still happens, such as this post.

    alethiophile, the image proxy still chokes on .webp images. Can you please fix it? Or at least bypass it for images of that format?

    It doesn't work because its in .webp format, which the QQ image proxy still does not support despite 2 years of 'looking into it'. Imgur will work because they don't use .webp format.

    Image proxy still bugging out occasionally.

    EDIT:
    Okay, that's odd. Ten minutes later, it's now working fine? Is there just a lag on the proxy sometimes?

    Images is working fine for me. And it's a .jpg instead of a .webp, so there's no reason for it not to work.

    Yeah, like I said in my edit it's working fine *now* for me as well. But it was previously broken, for about ten minutes after I made the post.
