As they walked towards the alleyway, Spider-Man suggested they take the rooftop for more privacy. Ben glanced at his Omnitrix and saw that it was currently red, indicating that it was in recharge mode, which meant he couldn't transform into an alien to fly to the rooftop.
Looking at Reimu, Ben sighed, knowing what he had to do. "Hey, Reimu, can you give me a lift?" he asked, a bit embarrassed.
Reimu raised an eyebrow, looking at Ben with a mixture of confusion and annoyance. "What do you mean?" she asked.
"I mean, can you fly me up to the rooftop where Spiderman's waiting?" Ben replied, scratching the back of his head.
Reimu rolled her eyes. "Fine, but don't get used to this," she said, grabbing Ben and lifting him off the ground.
As they flew towards the rooftop, Ben couldn't help but look down at the city below them. It was a sight to see in every city at night. The towering buildings, the bright lights, and the bustling streets all seemed so foreign to him. He wondered how he and Reimu would ever find their way back home.
When they landed on the rooftop, Spider-Man was waiting for them, his red and blue suit gleaming in the moonlight. "Hey guys, sorry about that," he said, holding out a hand to greet them.
Ben shook his hand, starstruck. "No worries, man. It's an honor to meet you," he said, a huge grin on his face.
Reimu, on the other hand, seemed unimpressed. "So, what did you want to talk to us about?" she asked, getting straight to the point.
Spiderman chuckled, admiring her straightforwardness. "Right to business, huh? I like that," he said. "I just wanted to know how you guys ended up here in New York and if there's anything I can do to help."
Ben and Reimu exchanged glances, wondering how much they should reveal to this stranger. Finally, Ben spoke up. "We were transported here through some kind of portal. We don't know how to get back, and we don't have any money," he explained as he scratched his head awkwardly.
Spider-Man nodded, understanding their plight. "Well, I can't help you with the portal, but I can give you some cash to get what you need," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a wad of bills.
Ben's eyes widened, amazed at Spiderman's generosity. "Wow, thanks, man!" he exclaimed, taking the money.
Spiderman smiled. "No problem. Just make sure you buy a mask to hide your identities, and maybe call the X-Men, the Fantastic 4, or the Avengers for help getting back to your own world. They helped me out a lot before," he advised.
The trio chatted for a few more minutes, discussing their respective worlds and sharing stories. Despite their differences.
As Spider-Man swung away, Ben couldn't help but tease Reimu about her traditional outfit. "Hey, Reimu, maybe you should get some new clothes while we're here. You look like you just stepped out of a history book!" he joked, poking her in the arm.
Reimu rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help but smile a little. "Maybe I will, Ben. And maybe I'll buy you a clown suit to wear!" she retorted, smacking him lightly with her gohei.
As they walked back towards the bustling streets of New York, Ben and Reimu knew that they had a long journey ahead of them. But with Spider-Man's help and a newfound sense of determination, they felt more confident.
