Newscaster: "It is a dark day in Japan as we mourn the loss of 19 year-old Akito, whose surname is being withheld at this time. Otherwise known as…" the man paused. "That isn't the right word. The hero known as Spider-Man has been found dead, following a battle against what witnesses describe as a formidable villain capable of wielding multiple quirks. In footage recovered from his
suit's recording system, he referred to the man as All For One. When it became apparent that Spider-Man was losing, he triggered a device injecting the villain with a substance that our analysts believe disrupted or suppressed his quirk factor. Both individuals were caught in the subsequent explosion. Whether the villain survived remains unknown

Somewhere else in Japan, All Might's smile dimmed.

Izuku: "Big brother he wailed, memories flooding back.
Akito: "Well, Izu, if you wanna be a hero, you're gonna need to put some meat on those bones." He grinned, ribbing him gently. "Your older brother will always protect you, no matter who or what stands in the way. And you'll have M.A.R.I.A. to help you as well."
The AI hummed softly in response. "It shall be my pleasure to assist you, sir." He felt his mother Embrace as well her own cheeks filled with tears

It was quiet in the Bakugo household.
Mitsuki: "We should invite Inko and Izuku over. They're going to need support right now."
Katsuki: "H-how…? Akito was the strongest. He can't just not until me and Deku made him proud." His voice broke. "He always said we'd be the strongest heroes if we worked together, no matter what hardships came our way. Damn it… he was my older brother too."
His thoughts drifted back to the day Akito had caught him being a bully izuku standing quietly at his side as they both listened to what he had to say.
Akito placed a firm hand on his shoulder.
Akito: "Bakugo, you have a great power. And I'm certain Izuku will have a great power of his own someday. But I need you to remember one thing above everything else."
Both boys nodded.
"With great power comes great responsibility."



The Bakugos held their son close.



Scene Change
Shota Aizawa stared at the news, all too familiar with the spider-themed vigilante though he hadn't realised just how young he was.
Nemuri, standing beside him in silence, finally spoke. "He was an amazing person, wasn't he? The way he inspired people… He even helped that girl the one he believed was being forced to repress her quirk. He gathered evidence and everything."
Shota: He sighed. "The Toga case. I remember how relieved he was when you took it. Her parents were sent to prison, and you adopted her." He paused. "How is she taking it?"
Nemuri: "She's having trouble processing it. Honestly… so am I. I'm going to miss that goofball."



M.A.R.I.A.: "Are you certain this is wise, sir? You may die. I know you've told me you're aware of how events unfold and I swear I will take that to my grave but is it truly necessary to face All For One now?"
Akito gazed into the lenses of his mask as he sat on the rooftop, still and composed.
Akito: "I won't lie to you. I know I've changed things enough that my foreknowledge won't protect me anymore." He exhaled slowly. "But even if I die, I intend to take him with me. I can't let the people I've grown close to pay that price."

He pulled his mask on.
"Besides… I've done what I can to help everyone prepare, should he survive. I just hope it's enough."
He swung out into the streets of Japan and into the cruel hands of fate.
