Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Just curious

What is your guys lower limit on words(when looking for new fics to read)?
I typically wait until a fic has around 25k to 35k to read because of how fast I read. (And i like to binge read)

Depending on the author I will read as soon as they post as well.

I'll read just about any word count above 2K words. In fact, I try to get fics just as they have started. I like binge reading, but I also like reading a fic as it is posted chapter by chapter, so I can comment on it.

Yea that makes sense it depends on my mood sometimes I wait a month and binge all of the updates at once (or for certain stories I read update to update)

For me, I generally won't even consider a a story that averages less than a thousand words per chapter. Between 1,000 and 2,000, I'll only bother if it's a fandom I REALLY like, and the summery catches my eye in a positive way.

It depends, really, but I seem to be within the 10k upper limit for the average reader.
