We have many good stories which could not work becouse of lack of logic.Here,it is place for making them plausible.
For example - GS/Goblin slayer/ - good manga,but totally unlogical.We had humans,immortal elves and rapegoblins which mature in weeks on the same planet.
Rape goblins take womans,rape them,and kill usually before they manage to birth any goblin.
And,are strong enough to kill avearage human,or capture elite elven archer with 10:1 advantage.
They should long ago capture all womans,rape and kill them,and die as species becouse of lack of womans.
But,they still exist.
So,to make it possible:
1.Elves are not immortal,only long living/let say,500 years/,and really super warriors - one could beat 10 average goblins with one hand.
2.Humans are better fighter,and do not send weak female adventures to fight goblins.
3.Goblins do not kill captured womans,keep them as long as they could birth children.And need at least 2 months to gave birth.
Also - need at least one year to learn how to fight.
After all those changes,we have plausible GS.
