In an episode of Chopped in the MCU, Thor, Peter Quill, Steve Rogers, and Scott Lang compete as chefs for the $10,000 prize. They are aware of any information they have in canon, and they have access to any equipment in the Chopped Kitchen. Attacking another chef is grounds for dismissal.

The judges are Alex Guarnacshelli, Aarón Sanchez, and Tony Stark. As always, Chopped is hosted by Ted Allen.

The mystery baskets, which contain the four ingredients each competitor must use in each half hour round, are as follows:
Appetizer: blackberries, quail eggs, lox, and candy canes
Entree: tinned spaghetti, rack of lamb, avocado, and almond extract
Dessert: pita bread, ricotta, sauerkraut, and coffee grounds

People can cook, its just that some of them are lazy, arrogant, untrained or even unmotivated to cook great meals.
I think Steve could cook a decent steak though.
