A/N: I don't think I've seen Lycoris Recoil fanfiction on QQ. So I thought I'd post this ChisaTaki femslash one shot I wrote a while back.

Crossposted from Archive of Our Own / Fanfiction.net.

"Have you ever been kissed, Takina?"

Takina paused doing the dishes. Her hands still dug beneath the soapy water, and bubbles floated above her, like loose balloons toward the sky.

She glared at Chisato, who held a cheeky grin. Oh, that smile was something Takina wanted to wipe off her stupid face. But, she wouldn't. Even if she tried to, Chisato would always jump away. Her reflexes were akin to lightning. Ever fleeting, impossible to hit.

"Why do you ask?" Takina inquired. Her eyes narrowed at Chisato and her widening grin. The girl had something up her sleeve.

Chisato giggled. "Why not?"

"How about helping me finish closing up shop instead? I have these dishes to take care of!" Takina exclaimed.

Right, right. Takina was always serious and dedicated to her line of work. Even in something casual like Café LycoReco. This wasn't even a mission demanded by the DA. It was just chores. No amount of distraction from Chisato would get Takina to change her mind when it came to duties.

Chisato's grin faded, replacing it with a pout. "You're no fun."

Takina frowned. She wasn't in the mood right now. "If you help me out, then maybe I'll answer your question."

"Oh, come on!" Chisato whined, propping her elbow over the counter. "Mizuki can help out too! Speaking of which, where is she?"

She saw a note left on the counter. Her eyes scanned over its contents.

Have a date tonight! Left early. Do my chores, will you?

Love, Mizuki

No surprise there. Mizuki was out chasing men again. Chisato groaned as Takina continued washing the dishes. "Arghh, and Mika already left. Kurumi too…"

"Looks like you have no excuse now," Takina chuckled, rubbing a dish with a clean rag. "Help me out."

"Fine." Chisato grabbed a broom and started sweeping the floor fast. "I will… know… if… Takina… has been kissed before!"

Takina sighed. For one of the most well-established and formidable Lycoris agents, Chisato sure didn't show it. She was acting childish here. Why did she want to know so badly about her ever being kissed before anyway? But still, it wouldn't be Chisato if she weren't carefree and defiant. Takina smiled, thinking about it. It was one of the things she loved -

"Heehee."

Takina jumped as Chisato glanced at her with a smirk. The broom's pole beneath her chin. She was oddly close to her. "Chisato!"

"You're smiling," Chisato said. "What's making you happy, Takina?"

Takina blushed at Chisato's intense stare. What was making her happy? That she secretly enjoyed Chisato being dramatic? That she was different from her serious demeanor, with her cheerful attitude? That Chisato was the greatest thing that ever happened to her since she got kicked out of DA? The thing is, Chisato already knew all that. But she feigned ignorance.

"Something on my face?" She asked, touching it.

"N - No…" Takina mumbled.

"Then what is it?"

"Just… get back to work! We'll be stuck here all night if we don't clean!"

Chisato chuckled, waving her hand nonchalantly. "Okay, okay. But, you're cute when you blush, Takina."

Takina's face turned red. Red as the cherries placed on the frozen treats they gave to their clients at the café. It was adorable. Chisato grinned. "Oh, now you are even cuter!"

"Chisato!" Takina yelled, flustered.

Chisato approached her slowly. "What? All I'm saying is - "

Ignorant of the soapy water that had splashed on the floor from the sink, Chisato slipped. Takina quickly ran to catch her. "Chisato!"

A loud thud, and the two girls crashed on the wooden floor of Café LycoReco. Takina's eyes widened when she saw that her lips were pressed against Chisato's. She was even on top of her, in a rather… intimate pose. They stood still for several seconds before Takina pulled away. Her hands covered her flustered face. She trembled, did... she just? "Ahh… ahh… I'm sorry!"

Chisato rose, touching her lips as she realized what had happened. "Wow, Takina… I…"

Takina shook her head in disbelief. "No, no! That shouldn't have happened! I didn't want my first kiss to be - !"

"Wait, first kiss?"

Takina gulped. The indisputable fact now out in the open, Takina had never been kissed before. Chisato's eyes sparkled with mischief, and her lips pressed into a wide grin.

"That was my first kiss, too!"

"What?!"

"What?"

"That… that was your first kiss?" Takina asked in disbelief. She didn't think Chisato was inexperienced like she was. Kissing was never on her mind, nor were relationships. After all, why would it be when she was a Lycoris? Such things were a waste of time. But Chisato seemed more outgoing and social... she should have had some experience!

"Yeah, it was. But I don't mind." Chisato said with a soft smile. "Because… it was with you."

Takina's face was pink enough that said flush would be mistaken for a sunburn. She looked away before she got up. This... this was unexpected. Did Chisato mean that? Her words made Takina's heart beat so fast that she could feel it. A constant rhythm like a loud drum.

"Let's… let's… just finish closing up the cafe…" She mumbled.

"Okay, but I want another kiss again. This time, a proper one," Chisato said. She made a wink in Takina's direction. "Deal?"

Despite Takina blushing, a smile crept up her face. "Deal."
