  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.

    New password is only 48 characters and works. Old one was 64 and failed silently or rather it was accepted but attempting to use it after logging out failed. Both were/are Alphanumeric only.

    So I had forgotten my password but managed to reset it and use a password manager to now remember it for me. Well turns out using that password to try to log in on an other device didn't work so I tried on the same device that I reset it on and it seems to not be accepted‽ How‽ I had just changed it ten minutes ago so it is definitely the right one but inputting it says 'Incorrect Password. Please try again.' Is there a maximum length issue? minimum complexity requirement? Alphanumeric only? Minimum length? Special characters? It doesn't say. I'm fine for now logged in on only one device, but I would like to have a password that my manager can handle between my devices which means I need to have the specs that I need to conform to. Thank you.
