4.100AD all lithuanian tribes are conqered,Estonian King is attacking porussian tribes.

5.300AD - all prussian tribes are conqered,with Gotland island taken to send amber by sea ,state have small standing army and better technology.
Even christian priests.BUT - Amber trade ended.

So,Estonians are slowly taking over OTL russian and polish territories,till 500AD take shore territories to Finland and Oder river.

15.1900AD - first estonian in space,nobody is messing with them.

16.2023 - Sp;ace Estonia invent FTL,after colonizing Mars.Happy End.

Honestly the easiest way to do so would be for some royalty political marriage shenanigans so that OTL small nations will end up being part of the major powers.

Second easiest way (those with coastlines only) would be to become a seafaring & exploration power and YOLO on colonization & trade.

3rd way would be to always back the winning side of whatever multinational conflicts and gain more shit bit by bit.

You just need to give them a decent iron deposit, otherwise they can't really support themselves in a war passed neolithic era. Bronze requires two different metals that don't form deposits near each other, this mean bronze weapons are dependent on very long trade routes. When those routes close down, you get the bronze age collapse.
