Not sure the significance of the jewelry though it seems there is some. Looking older so as to be taken more seriously seems better. Though playing a child would make more people underestimate us. I added in Tsuknoryu's hair color change, but would still favor the older look.

I like the idea of being a rogue, but it's unclear what exactly we could do as a rogue. The timeskip would be nice for that, but would rather not smash into some sort of unforgiving station of canon. Plus without funds from hiring out its probably quite limited how much we can upgrade as a tinker.

I'd rather avoid the heroing options.

Edit: Decided to opt for rogue now, since it would give us more money for upgrades. I'm thinking maybe bodyguard/mercenary work like Fautline's crew though, over actually selling transformation items. Though that might be good too.

Someone brought up a point I think a few people missed, mainly that as a Tinker we're going to need supplies to improve our equipment and going straight into a Timeskip won't help much unless we can get the materials we need to make upgrades (Which would be stuff like armor and weapons I imagine?)

What kind of stuff are we going to end up making, anyway? Can we even do anything more than simply transform right now?

If we ever get something like Starlight Breaker, we have to test it in the ship graveyard. No one will miss it, right?
 
What are our ratings when we're transformed? I'm assuming that we have at least a minor brute rating, a blaster rating, and possibly a mover rating. Probably a changer rating, since our body changes, and maybe a stranger rating, if there's something to keep people from connecting our transformed self with our normal self.
 
Probably just Brute, Blaster, Striker, Mover, unless they notice us activating the transformation, then you'll just be stamped Fucking Tinker. :D

I just looked at a bunch of MG pics and wrote whatever my sleep deprived mind thought was vaguely coherent. I'm imagining mostly Sailor Moon, but the top is open at the belly, but closed over the chest and up to the neck.

Right now you can make gems that give people transformations that have powers. They have to be personalised.

You are a Tinker.

Your gems essentially give people a Changer power.

The form they Change into, is a minor to mid Brute (the hard light bodies are tougher, stronger and more resistant to pain than normal, plus the real body is returned, safe and intact, when the transformation is undone), and they get personalised powers.

The Stranger power is just that people are unlikely to make the connection between "looks a bit like Taylor" and "could be Taylor in disguise," unless they have serious evidence, or have witnessed the transformation. Not strong enough to stop Thinkers.

For Tailor I'm currently thinking weak energy blasts, some kind of restraining power (ribbons?), and the beginnings of a Master/Thinker power (being able to sense people or something, maybe emotions, but that's cribbing Gallant's style).

Ideas welcome, both for Taylor, and those she may gift in the future.

Yesterday, I couldn't think of a good way to go rogue with this particular set, since the gems would require regular TLC from Taylor, like all Tinker tech. Later, I realised that she probably could make gems that deactivate after a set amount of time, before they can become dangerously unstable. I think people would be willing to spend money to have powers for a day, if anyone wanted to try being a rogue.

Update probably in the evening (Central European Time).
