I was recently threadbanned for making a comment that I was reporting someone to the mods after being attacked in a thread.
While the person in question was threadbanned by the mod, I was also threadbanned for what was apparently an unwritten rule?
"Rule 5 - Do not make a show out of abusing site functionality"
I was not aware this was a rule and when I looked in Rules I have not found any rule forbidding this. I do not post on QQ very often, so I would like it if I could receive some clarification for this threadban? Is this an unwritten rule or it is an interpretation of derailing the thread?
[Apologies, I would quote this but I cannot access the Reply functionality in the thread]
"We do not appreciate it when our users make a spectacle out of using site features like that.
If you're going to report someone, just bloody well report them and move on.
You can eat a threadban for a week as well, I am not amused by this."
This is the reason given for the threadban.
If someone could provide some clarification and perhaps a list of the "unwritten" rules, I would appreciate that.
