To begin the post I want to put my own red flag, English is not my mother language, so excuse me any grammatical mistake. Said that....

As the tittle of the thread says, I want talk about what are these red flags which will stop you to start a fic (original or fanfic) or will make you cautious about reading it.

I'm not referring to things that happening in the story like "I hate mind control", or "I hate prophecies" in the story, or the appearing tag "smut" , but the things did by author election which affects the story more in its structure, some of them which you can see at the fist sight and will remain along all the fic.

My list of red flags (more could will appear later):

-In AO3: excess of tags, I don't need a list of every character who appears, just the main characters, or five variations of the same tag, if there is "smut", I don't need "Shameless smut" "sex" and "+18"

-Also in AO3: one of the characters is "lector" : just NO

-In RR: using a generic (and bad) AI picture, this won't stop me to open the preview, but when all the stories have the same cover.... Meh. A bad handmade sketch looks so much interesting

-In general: Not using the default writing style on the site, this is just annoying, and maybe when you write the text in computer it's Ok, but in mobile, no. In the same line, using colour text for a single word is fine, but not for paragraphs, and specially not using yellow .

-"I'm writing just for fun, so I won't correct any typo", "I'm bad writing a synopsis, so I won't do", "I don't have any idea for the tittle, so it will be Pending Tittle HarryPotter" :

-The fic was previously in WebNovel: hhahahaha. No.

-And for now this is the last:[Insert tittle] a Naruto/Harry Potter/Bleach/One Piece/JJK/High-School DxD/+..... Crossover. Just.. say the main setting, multi-crossover and detail in the author notes.

-"AI assisted text".

Anyways, thanks for reading me raging until here. Don't doubt sharing your opinions.
And correcting my bad grammar
